Join Roche, where every voice matters.\nThe Position\nJob Title: Roche India Pharma - Access & Policy Head\nLocation: Delhi\nReports to: General Manager\nTeam: Market Access & Policy, Patient Groups, Patient Solutions\nROLE SUMMARY\nLead strategies and execution to improve market conditions and patient access to Roche innovative medicines in India. Manage access, pricing, reimbursement, and policy work across all products. Oversee patient groups and patient solutions initiatives. Provide Leadership and develop your team to deliver outcomes that align with Roche India Strategy and Viksit Bharat Ambitions.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and execute pricing, market access, and reimbursement strategies; negotiate with payers; manage commercial contracts\nLead patient groups and patient solutions initiatives to understand and address patient needs and foster sustainable access to Roche innovations\nOwnership of adherence to all internal and external policies relating to pricing, patient solutions and patient advocacy\nBuild and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (government, HCPs, patient groups, payers) to establish Roche as a trusted partner and shape healthcare ecosystems toward sustainability\nCross-functional collaboration with Disease Area Squads, Commercial teams and Medical teams to integrate access strategies into new product launches\nResponsible for inclusion of Roche therapies in government insurance and health benefit programs (Ayushman Bharat, state government schemes)\nEnsure fastest possible product listings with optimal pricing and reimbursement access\nIdentify healthcare system trends and patterns that inform Roche strategy and positioning\nLead implementation of global/regional access, and external projects locally\nEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, industry codes, and Roche values\nProvide visionary leadership to, and coach and develop the overall teams capability in market access, pricing, policy, patient advocacy, and patient solutions\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS\nMBBS, MD, Health Policy & Economics Field Education or MBA\n15+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry in access, pricing, strategy, or commercial leadership roles\nMid to senior management experience with cross-functional domain expertise\nIn-depth knowledge of drug development, product lifecycle, competitive landscape, and India's healthcare/reimbursement environment\nProven ability to lead teams, drive organizational change, and manage stakeholder relationships\nStrong written and verbal communication; ability to negotiate and influence\nFluency in English\nWho we are\nA healthier future drives us to innovate.
