Join Roche, where every voice matters.\nThe Position\nInternship Overview\nWe are seeking three enthusiastic and driven Data Analytics & Process Automation Interns to join our Roche Digital Technology team. In this dual-impact role, you will collaborate as a team to design, develop, and implement comprehensive data analytics dashboards enhanced with AI-driven insights, while also analyzing and automating existing business workflows. You will work with large datasets and modern AI capabilities to transform complex data into actionable insights and streamline operational processes that support personalized healthcare decisions.\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze dashboard requirements, map existing business processes, and identify automation opportunities.\nAnalyze and process large volumes of pharmaceutical data using SQL, Python, and advanced data manipulation tools.\nDesign, build, and deploy interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI.\nIntegrate AI-assisted analytics and intelligence-such as predictive modeling, AI/NLP features, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)-to generate automated insights, trend forecasting, and advanced health data analysis.\nDesign, build, and test automated workflows using scripting (Python, REST APIs) or workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) to reduce manual task overhead.\nPerform data cleaning, statistical analysis, and system optimization to ensure high data quality and reliable automated execution.\nDocument development processes, process maps, and technical architecture, presenting findings and completed projects clearly to stakeholders.\nQualifications & Requirements\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related field.\nProficiency in SQL for database querying and data management.\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.\nSolid programming foundations in Python and familiarity with data libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) or API integrations.\n Advantage: Hands-on project experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning models, LLM frameworks (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain), or process automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath).\nStrong analytical, algorithmic, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.\nBenefits\nDirect mentorship from experienced IT, data, and digital innovation professionals.\nHands-on experience building both AI-driven analytics dashboards and enterprise automation solutions at Roche Digital Technology.\nOpportunity to develop a high-impact professional portfolio spanning AI, data analytics, and software automation.\nWho we are\nA healthier future drives us to innovate.
