The Position

The Global Learning Services teams focus on executing system data maintenance and administrative activities in Cornerstone and all relevant Learning management systems as well as providing all necessary non-systems related Learning process support. Global Learning Services provides customer service and advisory support to the Learning Community and business partners on global Learning systems and processes and ensuring end-to-end process completion in line with customer focused principles to ensure the Roche People Practices work for the business.

The Opportunity:

As a Learning Systems & Solutions Analyst you work closely with internal Global Learning Services, People Support Solutions, Learning IT staff, business leaders and Learning system vendors to effectively meet the Learning technology needs of the organization. Partner with global and local counterparts to represent business needs within the larger global People Support Solutions organization on behalf of Global Learning Services and the wider Learning community. Your responsibilities include supporting and maintaining of the Cornerstone On Demand system, in addition to other interfaced systems used within the People Support Solutions organization and Learning community.

• Learning Ecosystem & Escalation Management: Perform system testing for various set-ups and scenarios, provide process and technical advisory for operational team and learning service advisors, resolve functional bottlenecks, and act as tier 3 escalation point for system functionalities and technical or process inquiries across Roche’s learning tools.
• System Releases & Feature Implementation: Coordinate and support quarterly scheduled system releases, platform enhancements in an end-to-end fashion by collaborating with Learning IT, vendor representatives, and product owners. Develop, update, and review process documentation, work instructions, and guidance materials ahead of feature rollouts.
• Agile Squads & Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute as a functional expert in agile squads including delivering story completions, feature testing, and solution design. Serve as a process gatekeeper to ensure learning solutions adhere to global standards while aligning with business needs. Channel continuous improvement proposals to Product Owners or IT teams, and lead initiatives exploring AI automations.
• Knowledge Management & Community Enablement: Own, maintain, and publish standard operating procedures and other documentation on global repositories. Create and lead community engagement forums to upskill global teams and communicate system updates. Partner with Internal Training & Quality leads, Learning Service Advisors, and team leads to support onboarding and operational readiness.
• Data Stewardship & Quality Assurance: Support Learning Data Steward community in monitoring data quality, enforcing governance rules, and conducting periodic data clean-up activities. Maintain data definitions, business rules, and terms to ensure data literacy and privacy compliance across the learning domain. Track and report data quality metrics, scorecards, and quality assurance dashboards to support operational decision-making.

Who you are

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in a Learning Systems Analyst, HRIS Analyst, or HR Business Analyst role in a global shared service center environment
• Strong knowledge of learning management systems (preferably Cornerstone), learning experience platforms, and case management platforms (preferably ServiceNow).
• High adaptability to work independently, manage ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and operate effectively within global, cross-functional and matrix settings
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a process-improvement mindset, capable of evaluating complex challenges and translating technical concepts into plain language.
• Robust reporting and analytical capabilitie s to synthesize information, prepare actionable insights, and facilitate executive decision-making.
• End-to-end strategic stakeholder management, with a proven ability to align competing interests, navigate matrix organizations, and build strong relationships across IT, vendor, and operational partners.
• Hands-on experience withend-user system support, functionality testing, and requirement gathering.
• Familiarity with data governance principles, data quality monitoring, or agile methodology is desirable.
