Join Roche, where every voice matters.\nThe Position\nWe are looking for an IT senior engineer to join one of our teams in Roche Digital Technology.\nIn Roche Digital Technology we focus on delivering technology that evolves the practice of medicine and helps patients live longer, better lives.\nYou will be responsible for the Design and Implementation of Directory Services (mainly Microsoft Active Directory) solutions and tier 2-3 operational support, performance, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of the underlying technologies. You will be part of multiple initiatives or projects with multiple specialists across multiple time zones in order to achieve the organizational objectives.\nAs a Manufacturing Specialist Directory Services you would be part of a multicultural and global team protecting our information and assets from unauthorized access, security risks and cyber attacks.\nJob Responsibilities\nCollaborate in small to medium sized technical teams and contribute to the end to end design of infrastructure solutions producing and maintaining sufficient documentation.\n\nInteract with senior internal and external partners on significant technical matters and contribute to determining success criteria and evaluation of promising solutions/technologies via Proofs of Concepts (PoC’s) and feasibility studies.\n\nProviding 2nd and 3rd level support. Operationally manage and support and implement the Directory Services Infrastructure on premises for manufacturing environments and its associated compliments and applications.\n\nProactively monitor systems and platforms for performance, availability and capacity management and ensure that the solution and component escalations are minimized.\n\nPromptly responding to customer requests, resolve incidents and implement changes, ensuring a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction\n\nUnderstanding, implementing and following relevant concepts of ITIL, GxP and Project Management. These include Request Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Document Management, Qualification and Validation and Project Management\n\nActively focusing on own self-development and creating actionable plans to improve\n\nProvide 24x7 on-call support. Flexibility regarding working hours\n\nOccasional international travel is required\n\nQualifications\nEducation / Experience\nBachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline; or recognition of prior working experience which is equivalent.\n\n4+ years experience administering and advance troubleshooting in Active Directory\n\nRobust experience working in a major global organization, preferably in a regulated industry\n\nTechnical Skills\nStrong design and hands-on technical background. Solid experience on Microsoft Active Directory, Lightweight Directory Services (LDAP) and desirable in Entra ID.\n\nPowershell Scripting skills will be required\n\nAbility to apply tools, principles, concepts, and techniques related to requirements, data, usability, and process analysis in practical scenarios\n\nSkill in evaluating change and technology impacts with increasing accuracy, and breaking down complex technical concepts with minimal guidance\n\nAdditional Qualifications\nProven interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals in multiple countries and in varying cultures\n\nWillingness to continually evolve, acquire and maintain the technical and soft skills appropriate to the requirements of this position\n\nCommitting to operational excellence, with a willingness to cross-train and to learn additional technical expertise\n\nTaking a proactive, collaborative and supportive approach when interacting with colleagues\n\nStrong customer focus and a highly responsive service delivery and support ethic\n\nAdaptable to change in a large organization\n\nExcellent communication negotiation and documentation skills\n\nStrong spoken and written English\n\nStrong analytical and logical reasoning skills to identify discrepancies, challenge assumptions, and confidently present solutions\n\nWho we are\nA healthier future drives us to innovate.
