You'll be embedded in the operational forums of your business area, building strong partnerships and translating business needs into clear direction for the chapter.\nYou won't work alone. You'll be part of a leadership teamalongside another Network Lead, Sub-Chapter Leads, and the Chapter Lead; operating as one unit, covering for each other, and keeping the chapter aligned across business areas.\nWhat You'll Do\nRepresent the chapter in your business area\nBe the chapter's primary contact in the operational forums of your assigned business area.\n\nBuild and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders like Finance Business Partners, Portfolio Management, and Business Operations leaders.\n\nTranslate business priorities and emerging needs into actionable direction for the project management network.\n\nAct as the bridge between strategic decisions and operational execution in your area.\n\nCoordinate delivery and resources\nOwn the operational rhythm: snapshot preparation, capacity reviews (QCRs, SCRs, fQCRs), and resource planning within your network.\n\nPartner with Sub-Chapter Leads to allocate resources, balancing business needs, capabilities, and availability across portfolios.\n\nAnticipate demand, identify gaps early, and mobilize the right people at the right time.\n\nDrive the formation of teams or squads to address urgent portfolio or project needs.\n\nAlign key timelines across Finance, Portfolio Management, and Project Management.\n\nIntegrate across boundaries\nWork hand-in-hand with your Network Lead counterpart to ensure coverage, alignment, and mutual backup across business areas.\n\nCollaborate with Portfolio Management to connect project delivery with portfolio health and governance.\n\nBreak down silos - especially at the intersection of Finance, Portfolio Management, and Project Management.\n\nContribute to standardization, tooling alignment, and operational excellence across the chapter.\n\nDrive coordination with relevant cross-functional partners and stakeholders in your area.\n\nWho You Are\n10+ years in Diagnostics, Life Sciences, or related fields in project management or related functions.\n\nScientific, engineering, or business background.\n\nDeep understanding of project and portfolio management in product development and product care, including lifecycle management.\n\nStrong operational instincts: you see what needs to happen and you make it happen.\n\nProven ability to lead through influence in a complex matrix: you connect people, you don't control them.\n\nBusiness and financial acumen: you understand how delivery connects to business outcomes.\n\nExperience working with cross-functional stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.\n\nWorking knowledge of Planisware, MS-Office, G-Suite, and familiarity with tools like Trello, Miro, Smartsheet. .\n\nFluent in English (verbal and written).\n\nWillingness to travel 5-15%.\n\nWhere pay transparency applies, details are provided based on the primary posting location.
