The Opportunity

The Security and Cybersecurity Expert provides expert-level leadership and strategic guidance across the organization's critical security programs and initiatives. This role manages a team of analysts, establishes team objectives and processes, and develops enterprise-wide security best practices that ensure consistency and alignment with organizational standards. The position combines hands-on oversight of high-impact projects with mentorship of less experienced team members, while maintaining quality assurance and strategic alignment across all security initiatives.

Responsibilities

Accountability/Problem Solving

• Leads comprehensive analysis of complex, strategic business problems across organizational boundaries, conducting root cause analysis and eliciting stakeholder needs to influence sound decision-making and drive consensus through persuasive communication

• Demonstrates mastery in requirements and domain knowledge, providing thought leadership on unusually complex problems with innovative solutions; mentors colleagues, leads large-scale process improvement initiatives, and guides strategic change adaptation while ensuring deliverables align with strategic objectives

Stakeholder Management

• Identifies and analyzes complex stakeholder networks across organizational boundaries and global teams, developing comprehensive engagement and communication plans that drive consensus on strategic vision while building and maintaining strong relationships across the organization

• Acts as a master negotiator and trusted advisor to leadership, navigating complex conflicts to achieve alignment, empowering teams in stakeholder management, and serving as a role model in collaboration and organizational trust-building

Impact/Strategy

• Drives significant, consistent impact across major products and domains by ensuring delivery of high-value solutions aligned with business strategy, embedding best practices, and leveraging industry trends to influence organizational strategy and foster continuous improvement

• Leads evaluation and implementation of optimal strategic solutions and transitions across large, complex projects spanning multiple domains; manages highly ambiguous requirements holistically while ensuring traceability and alignment with broader organizational goals

Who you are

• Advanced technical proficiency in Java, JavaScript, AWS (Amazon Web Services), and SAP Customer Data Cloud (SAPCDC), with comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and enterprise systems

• In-depth understanding of business domain, organizational strategy, and Business Analysis Advisory/Consultancy concepts; ability to apply systems thinking for holistic, enterprise-wide security consulting

• Demonstrated expertise in complex root cause analysis, requirements elicitation, strategic solution evaluation, and traceability principles across organizational boundaries

• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities with ability to manage technical teams, build consensus among senior stakeholders, and establish trusted advisory relationships that influence strategic decisions

• Track record of driving significant impact through large-scale process improvements, change management initiatives, and thought leadership in emerging security trends and industry best practices
