The Position
The Ac counting Tax Integration Sub-Chapter is responsible for one of the six specialized products within the Record to Report (R2R) Process Area.
It is a global organization of 20 experienced tax accounting and technology professionals working together to deliver deployment and product development services and solutions for Roche.
Our scope covers harmonizing and standardizing indirect tax and withholding tax-related processes and solutions, automatic tax determination for indirect taxes, SAP Document and Reporting Compliance for real-time e-invoicing, statutory reporting, and tax compliance, also the implementation of a tax ledger to support deferred and current income tax calculations.
The Opportunity
In this position, you report to the Accounting Tax Integration Sub-Chapter Lead.
You act as Business Process Specialist in the EMEA Regional Deployment team in the Finance/ Tax area. You roll-out the Aspire Global Template to the EMEA countries in the area of Taxes and include country Tax Localization.
Your main responsibilities include:
You roll-out Global template solutions for the area of Finance/ Tax, including solution documentation & implementation, test management, business process operations including integrated training management. Evaluates Local GAP and design localization extension for the Global Template
You ensure end-to-end view from record to report and work closely with other Finance areas
You translate local Tax business requirements into IT solutions and manage changes to such specifications.
Actively drive and support the project deployment relevant deliverables throughout the full rollout lifecycle
Ensuring that all parallel deployment as well as the S/4Hana work package are on track
Ensuring, monitoring and optimization of business processes with regards to efficiency and effectiveness
Liaise with the other stakeholder within the E2E processes.
Lead process alignments/solution desig n with business stakeholders under template governance
Who you are
Business or Finance degree with 4-5+ years of relevant experience in global ERP/IT transformations, backed by a strong technical background in IFRS Accounting and comprehensive SAP FI/CO mastery.
Proven methodological skills in BPM, Six Sigma (DMAIC), Agile (Scrum), and Lean/Continuous Improvement (PDCA, Kaizen).
Extensive expertise in SAP Tax solutions (Indirect, Withholding, Corporate Income Taxes), S/4HANA Tax capabilities (SAP Country Versions, DRC), and third-party engines like Sovos.
Strong agile mindset (speed, flexibility, stability), customer-centric approach, and high comfort level with navigating ambiguity to make decisive operational choices.
History of balancing senior stakeholder interests across multi-divisional matrix structures, supported by strong change management and conflict resolution skills.
Business fluency in English with top-tier presentation, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills within complex global networks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a history of leading change initiatives and effective decision-making.
