As a Publication Coordination Manager at Roche, you’ll be actively shaping this future and giving our wealth of science a voice as a member of the Scientific Communications Community.\nPublication Coordination Manager support the implementation of Scientific Communications (SC) Strategies by ensuring effective coordination, oversight and overall project management of all publications activities with the ultimate goal of changing medical practice. The means of accomplishing these activities may include supporting product-specific teams, Disease Area teams spanning multiple molecules, early research areas and other iterations of team engagement across the lifecycle.\nThe Opportunity\nAs a Publication Coordination Manager you will play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare by ensuring science and data are communicated effectively. Joining our Scientific Communications Community, you will drive project management, coordination, and operational oversight for publication activities across prioritized disease areas.\nIn this role, you will:\nPartner closely with scientific communication leaders to manage E2E (end-to-end) publication workflows, project timelines, and budgets across global disease areas.\nDirect the planning and execution of scientific publication projects in collaboration with cross-functional internal teams, medical authors, and agency partners.\nOversee agency deliverables, track key performance metrics, monitor budget allocations, and ensure high-quality execution across external vendors.\nManage publication planning cycles, leading kick-off meetings, coordinating review cycles, and maintaining transparent project dashboards.\nEnsure all publication activities strictly comply with global medical guidelines, regulatory standards, and ethical codes of practice.\nLeverage operational data to identify continuous improvement opportunities across communication tools, workflows, and vendor partnerships.\nFoster collaborative relationships with external medical experts, healthcare professionals, and medical societies to ensure candidate and customer perspectives shape communication strategies.\n\nWho You Are\nYou are a organized, collaborative project management professional with a passion for scientific communications and medical affairs. You thrive in complex environments, bring strong stakeholder management skills, and enjoy bringing structure to multi-faceted scientific projects.\nProven experience (5+ years) in medical affairs, biopharmaceuticals, or a medical communications agency.\nDemonstrated track record in project management, operational excellence, and managing complex publication or scientific workflows.\nStrong experience managing agency partners, budgets, and project timelines.\nExperience utilizing publication management software systems and adapting quickly to digital platforms.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and influence skills with the ability to work collaboratively across global teams.\nStrong ethical standards and working knowledge of medical publication guidelines and regulatory frameworks.\nFluency in written and spoken English.\n\nIn exchange we provide you with\nDevelopment opportunities: Roche is rich in learning resources.
