Join Roche, where every voice matters.\nThe Position\nThis role will be responsible for driving PD China Asset Teams (Project Team/Working Group) that are focused on developing or improving new treatments for patients for Phase I - Phase III clinical trials and beyond. Sr. PM achieves this by delivering high-quality program/project management expertise and other high value services to enable team and project success. This position reports directly into the Head of Portfolio and Program Management (PPM), PD China.\nCrucially, this role oversees the portfolio and programs of Early Development, Center of Excellence (ED CoE) in PD China, to ensure China's unified voice is effectively delivered to global stakeholders. The Sr. PM acts as the central integration point among ED CoE cross functional members, pRED/gRED/PD stakeholders (mainly GPMs) and Pharma China colleagues where applicable (Commercial Portfolio Strategy Team, Medical Affairs Team, and Access Team).\nThe Sr. Program Manager is accountable for:\nValue Maximization and Process Architecting\nTransforms complex uncertainties into actionable business options.\nProvides strategic influence to resolve high-friction misalignments among applicable cross-functional stakeholders (both local and global).\nProvides oversight on complex ED and selected late stage assets.\nPressure tests development acceleration and de-risks the critical path.\nLeads risk identification and issue management.\nActs as the business manager of the ED CoE development excellence board on local governance level alignment;\nConducts trends analysis, sensitivity analysis, and value exercises.\nEstablishes and iterates cross-divisional and cross-functional operating models.\nDrives process development and optimization.\nProgram and Project Planning\nUsing PM knowledge to be strategic in planning short-, mid-, long-term project plans and identifying interdependencies.\nDeveloping, maintaining, tracking, and managing a high-quality, integrated project plan to enable accurate reporting and decision making.\nManaging the critical path of the project and key project risks with appropriate mitigations.\nIntegrate consolidated China inputs into the E2E Asset Journey, so that China development strategy is aligned with global development strategy;\nTeam Management\nApplying project management expertise, methodologies, & department standards.\nCommunicating effectively with team members, senior leaders, and the broader organization.\nLeveraging well developed interpersonal skills to build & maintain positive working relationships with customers and key stakeholders.\nLeads/contributes to organizational-level initiatives to realize organizational synergy.\nWho we are\nA healthier future drives us to innovate.
