Join Roche, where every voice matters.\nThe Position\nThe Team Lead PT Insights & Data Delivery (Product Manager) is accountable for the entire product lifecycle, from initial ideation and strategic planning through to launch, scaling, and eventual retirement. This role is pivotal in transforming scientific and business needs into tangible, high-value technology solutions. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the overarching goals of our organization and ultimately accelerates the delivery of life-changing diagnostics and medicines to patients. This role demands a distinctive combination of scientific inquisitiveness, technical proficiency, and business insight to successfully navigate the landscape.\nYour primary objective is to lead engineering and service teams building desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet the evolving needs of our internal users while maintaining strict compliance with relevant industry standards.\nDescription of The Area\nPT Insights and Data Delivery focuses on the reliable delivery of high quality data combined with the use of data in analytics solutions for both existing and anticipatory business needs with a cross-functional scope and mandate.\nThe role will lead a team of over 20 people to bring the following key benefits to PT:\nReusable and scalable systems that are efficiently operated\nFaster and more robust solutions to meet business challenges\nReliable delivery of key metrics and performance indicators\nIdentifying areas for cost savings and where to invest\nData/evidence driven decisions\nProcess enabling efficient maintenance of reliable enterprise data\nThe role will need knowledge and experience in the following areas:\n\nAnalytics excellence for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality\nSupports business process from Make, Assess to Release\nGMP and Non-GMP Reporting\nDifferent Levels of Views (Helicopter vs Front Line)\nEnhanced Business Planning\nSelf service reporting\nReducing workload for knowledge workers\nDrive towards actionable insights\nReliable key performance indicators and metrics\nComparison across manufacturing sites\nData Delivery for Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Qualit y\nReliable and high quality delivery of core manufacturing, supply chain and quality dataDevelopment and support of FAIR data pipelines and data products across PT\nEfficient and reliable DataOps\nBrings together information from multiple systems, so that interdependencies between data can be managed and resolved\nYour Responsibilities\nStrategy & Vision Accountable for setting the direction for a product and ensuring that it achieves defined outcomes and financial objectives. Defines product strategy, roadmap, and features aligned with business goals, user needs and organisational policies. Proactively integrate relevant AI capabilities into the product roadmap. Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure its performance and contribution to business goals and strategy. \nCustomer-Centricity Actively collect, understand, and prioritize the needs of internal users. Act as the primary owner of the “customer's” problem and be responsible for defining and delivering a solution that provides tangible value. Define and track key metrics related to user satisfaction, engagement, and value delivery, and use this data to inform product iterations.\nProduct Lifecycle Mgmt. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, guide its development, and manage its growth and eventual decline based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals. Manage the product in compliance with emerging regulations.\nStakeholder Collaboration Expand collaboration to a broader set of cross-functional teams and be responsible for aligning these teams around the product roadmap. Clearly communicate the product roadmap, timelines, and potential trade-offs to various stakeholders to manage their expectations effectively.\nTeam Leadership & Development Align a cross-functional product team around a shared vision and create an environment where everyone can do their best work. Attract, hire, and onboard skilled employees to build a high-performing and collaborative team.\nPerformance & Optimization Define success metrics, analyze user behavior, and identify opportunities for optimization to achieve business goals. Translate data into actionable insights and regularly communicate product performance to stakeholders and the wider team.\nFinancial & Resource Mgmt. Develop detailed business cases for new products or significant features, including market analysis, revenue projections, and cost estimates. Make data-driven decisions on how to allocate engineering, design, and other resources to maximize impact and achieve product goals.\nWho You Are\nEducation / Experience\n5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a similar role, with a proven track record of launching and managing technology products\n2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry\n1+ years of experience in a leadership role managing multidisciplinary technical teams\nTechnical Skills\nStrong understanding of the product discovery and development lifecycle. Familiarity with GxP, FAIR data principles, insights generation, and data privacy regulations (GDPR).\nUnderstanding of modern software architecture (e.g., microservices, APIs, cloud platforms). Familiarity with data science and AI/ML concepts is a major plus.\nLeadership skills\nAbility to translate high-level business and scientific goals into a concrete product vision and roadmap.\nStrong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage expectations and align diverse groups (scientists, engineers, executives) towards a common goal.\nProven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team and foster a collaborative environment.\nWho we are\nA healthier future drives us to innovate.
