They must adhere to all local and state traffic laws as well as RMC safety policies to ensure RMC is compliant and considerate to all other drivers and pedestrians.\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS\nTransporting Personnel Safely\nEnsuring that employees or other individuals are transported to and from work locations, meetings, or events in a safe and timely manner.\nAdhering to Traffic Laws and Company Policies\nComplying with all local and national traffic regulations, as well as company safety policies. This includes driving at safe speeds and following the rules of the road.\nRoute Planning\nSelecting the best routes based on traffic, weather conditions, and the timeliness of the journey. It may also include preparing for detours or construction zones to ensure punctuality.\nAssisting with Loading/Unloading\nAssist with the loading and unloading of personal items, tools, and product deliveries.\nMaintaining Professionalism and Confidentiality\nMaintaining a courteous, professional demeanor at all times. Respecting the privacy and confidentiality of passengers, especially in corporate settings.\nRecord Keeping\nDocumenting details such as customer locations, mileage, or hours worked. This can also include completing travel logs or time sheets as required by the employer.\nEmergency Preparedness\nKnowing how to handle emergency situations, such as accidents, breakdowns, or medical issues, and following appropriate company protocols.\nCommunication\nKeeping in touch with the company or supervisor for updates, changes in schedule, or special instructions.\nTime Management\nEnsuring timely arrivals and departures, considering factors such as traffic, weather, and the specific time frame for appointments or meetings.\nCompany Vehicles\nCleaning and Caring for the Vehicle: Keeping the vehicle clean, both inside and outside, and ensuring that it is comfortable for the passengers. Performing routine vehicle checks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, lights, brakes, and fuel levels.
