This position is located in our San Diego, CA-Otay Mesa location and reports to theSupply Chain Supervisor. We currently have positions available on both 1st Shift hours (6am-3:30pm)\nand 3rd shift hours, Sunday-Thursday (10:00pm-7:30am)\nPosition Summary:\nProvide support for incoming/outgoing of materials and the organizational structure for supplies and production materials.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nCarefully handle fragile hardware for both incoming and outgoing items. Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.\nMaintain logically organized supply areas.\nOperate forklifts to load/unload shipments.\nAssist with monthly inventory and provide accurate detailed information that effects company financials.\nVerify Material logs and legal reporting of material usage.\nFollows inspection procedures.\nPull inventory/materials out of freezers to prepare for production the following day.\nAdheres to procedures required for materials documents and shipping and receiving documents.\nPerforms warehouse control, inventory control and related duties.\nUses carpentry tools for use with shipping containers and is responsible for their accountability.\nMaintains clean and organized shipping and receiving area.\nResolves any material needs, solving material problems and inventory control issues as they arise.\nUpdates computer generated inventories and documents.\nNON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nOther duties as assigned\nRequired Education and Experience:\nMinimum High School Diploma\nForklift Operation certification\nValid driver’s license\nEmployee must have basic knowledge of carpentry tools for working with shipping containers.\nBilingual (Spanish/English) Preferred\nUS.
