decisions.\nCollaborate with engineers, product, QA, and business partners, and communicate effectively with managers and engineers alike.\n/ Requirements\nTechnical Skills\n5+ years of software development experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.\n3+ years building backend services with Node.js and at least one modern framework such as NestJS, Express.js, or Hono.\nExperience designing and building RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.\nHands-on experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud.\nSolid knowledge of distributed system design and the challenges of horizontally scaled environments.\nExperience with relational and non-relational databases.\nExperience with messaging or event-driven systems (e.g., SQS/SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).\nExperience writing unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, Vitest).\nFamiliarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and observability (logging, metrics, tracing).\nProficiency with Git and code versioning workflows.\nStrong grasp of software design patterns and principles for building robust, scalable, and maintainable systems.\nAbility to estimate work accurately.\nExperience in the banking/fintech industry is a plus.\nPrevious experience in a leadership role such as tech lead is a plus.\nSoft Skills\nStrong sense of ownership.\nExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to collaborate
