Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.\nPOSITION\nRockefeller Capital Management’s Technology department is seeking a Summer Analyst to join its Information Security team this summer. The Summer Analyst will work with experienced professionals to learn about and work with cutting-edge technology and tools. Project output will have a direct impact on securing the data and assets of the firm. We are seeking a curious and delivery-oriented individual with a strong interest in cybersecurity principles, current threats and risk reduction.\nResponsibilities\nPartner with colleagues in driving enhancements across control environment and threat defenses.\nStay up to date on current cybersecurity trends and threats.\nAssist with the development of security policies and procedures.\nProactively identify potential security issues and make recommendations for improvement.\nCommunicate and present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.\nContribute to the cybersecurity awareness program with innovative ways to communicate the importance of best practices.\nPartner with colleagues in information security, data and technology to drive performance metrics.\nEngage senior leadership across the business to promote a risk culture and drive risk reduction initiatives with information security and data leadership.\nWork with various security tools and technologies to protect the organization’s systems and data.\nQualifications\nHigh school degree required.\nPursuing a degree with one of concentrations in the following domains is desirable: Computer Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, Data or Cybersecurity.\nSkills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and interpret complex information.\nDemonstrated intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and security concepts.\nThorough, organized, and able to learn quickly.\nAbility to work well independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise.\nDetail-oriented and attention to accuracy.\nExcellent interpersonal skills.\nAbility to exercise discretion with confidential matters.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nCompensation Range\nThe anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38.00/hour.
