This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, refreshing restrooms, removing trash, and maintaining the appearance of event spaces before, during, and after events.\nSuccessful candidates enjoy working with their hands, staying active, solving problems, and seeing the immediate results of their work. They take pride in creating clean, polished, properly set event spaces and understand that excellent events depend on strong behind-the-scenes execution\nAbout therole\nSet up event spaces according to floor plans and event specifications, including tables, chairs, bars, staging, dance floors, and other event furnishings and equipment\nBreak down event spaces following events and properly organize and store furniture, equipment, and event supplies\nComplete room flips and resets efficiently and accurately, including adjusting layouts and furnishings between events\nClean and prepare indoor and outdoor event spaces before, during, and after events, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning glass\nMaintain venue cleanliness and presentation throughout events, including waste removal, restroom upkeep, spill cleanup, and ensuring guest-facing areas remain clean and polished\nAssist clients, caterers, vendors, rental companies, and other event partners with load-in and load-out activities\nWork closely with Event Managers and other Rock Events team members to ensure event setups, breakdowns, and venue needs are executed accurately and efficiently\nRespond quickly to last-minute event changes, including physically adjusting room layouts, furniture, and equipment as needed\nConduct routine facility walkthroughs to identify maintenance, safety, cleanliness, or presentation concerns and report issues as needed\nAssist with general venue upkeep and other hands-on operational needs as assigned\nSupport other Rock Events venues and teams based on business needs\nRespond appropriately during emergency situations and facility evacuations when necessary\nFollow all company safety policies and operational procedures\nAboutyou\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\nPrevious experience in event setup, venue operations, banquet setup, facilities, building services, or a similar hands-on environment preferred, but not required\nStrong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized, and professional spaces\nStrong work ethic with the ability to work with a sense of urgency, particularly during event setups, room flips, and breakdowns\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with others\nResourceful, solutions-oriented mindset with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed\nAbility to routinely lift, carry, push, pull, and move items weighing up to 75 pounds\nValid driver's license required\nBasic computer skills preferred\nProfessional and courteous when interacting with clients, guests, vendors, and team members\nAbility to work a flexible event-driven schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require\nWhatyou’llget\nOur team members fuel our strategy,innovationand growth, so we ensure the health and well-being of not just you, but your family, too!
