You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.\nThe RF system (telemetry + flight termination) is broad and multidisciplinary, spanning the launch vehicle, ground systems, down-range ground systems, and satellite networks. You therefore need to be a high-performing generalist, who can work independently and autonomously as part of a small team.\nYour Tasks\nDesign and troubleshoot RF systems based on off-the-shelf components\nPlan and implement qualification and acceptance testing of RF systems\nTest RF systems in the field and/or via analysis and simulation\nIntegrate RF components onto the vehicle\nPerform RF-related literature reviews and research\nBecome familiar with RF telemetry/flight termination system requirements outlined by the RCC, IRIG, and ECSS standards\nPrepare and maintain engineering documentation with a high standard of detail and accuracy\nDevelop and maintain Python scripts used for analysis and test\nCollaborate with other teams across the company\nYour Qualifications\nBachelor or Master study in telecommunications/RF/microwave engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, or an equivalent qualification\nStrong foundation in digital RF communications theory: modulation, forward error correction, software defined radios, and DSP\nStrong foundation in electromagnetic principles, antenna theory/design, transmission line theory, link margin analysis, electronics/embedded systems, and RF simulation\nHands-on experience with programming languages including Python, C, C++, and MATLAB/Simulink\nHands-on experience with wireless communications/telemetry systems is desirable\nKnowledge of common test and troubleshooting equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analysers, and signal generators\nFluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English\nWe Offer\n\nAtmosphere: Experience life in an international & dynamic New Space start-up \n\nFlexibility: Fit your working schedule to your needs with flexible working hours \n\nHome Office: Full-time employees benefit from one day per week home office \n\nHealth: Sweat, stretch or squat it out with EGYM Wellpass \n\nPaid Time Off: 30 days annual leave and speacial leave days \n\nTeam Culture: Join regular company and team events \n\nParking: Free parking for car and bike\n\nInsights\n\nReady to take the next step?\nJoin RFA and help build one of Europe’s most efficient launch systems.
