With many of our own products functioning as critical components to our own and our customers’ missions, the Supply Chain team has a direct impact on the success of our rocket and satellite programs. They set up assembly kits that enable our technicians to put together our Electron rockets, manage inventory, look after shipping and receiving, manage direct and indirect procurement, and inspect and ensure that all our materials and products are compliant and up to standard. They are the chain that links our teams together and are critical to our success.\nBUSINESS SYSTEMS ENGINEER I\nBusiness Systems Engineers are key resources in leading the development and execution of important initiatives across the Supply Chain function. Our vision is to develop intelligent agents and bots that work alongside supply chain professionals to enhance productivity, streamline decision making, and optimize processes.\nWHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:\nConduct in-depth analyses using SQL, R, Power BI, Python, and other tools to assess risk, gather intelligence, and formulate actionable plans.\nLead the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven tools and systems to support supply chain operations, including intelligent agents and bots that act as \"wingmen\" for supply chain professionals.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI integration, automation, and process optimization across the supply chain.\nDevelop and deploy machine learning models to enhance forecasting, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.\nProactively assess and develop opportunities for efficiencies and automation, including the use of AI to reduce manual tasks.\nContribute to the development and maintenance of procedures and documentation for AI-enabled tools and systems.\nProvide training and support to the broader team on new AI tools, reports, and processes.\nIdentify and propose cost reduction opportunities across various products and services, leveraging AI to uncover hidden efficiencies.\nYOU’LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience (HS Diploma and 4+ years of total work experience).\nExperience with at least one of the following: SQL, R, Python, or Power BI.\nProficient using Microsoft Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).\nExposure to ERP systems.\nTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:\nA passion for leveraging AI and technology to solve complex problems and improve operational efficiency.\nProficient in MRP systems.\nPrior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nExperience with developing and deploying AI or machine learning models.\nExperience conducting wide-ranging research and applying findings to real-world applications.\nClear, concise, and confident interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.\nTeam-oriented with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.\nProven ability to clearly communicate, manage multiple work tasks, and provide regular status updates.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently.\nThis position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.\nJoin one of the world's fastest-growing space companies and own a piece of it.
