We're onboarding now\nWe're a fast-growing Australian agency that runs Amazon and TikTok Shop for global consumer brands, and we're expanding into Japan.\nWe need someone who knows performance marketing to look after the client-facing side of a growing book of accounts: the weekly updates, the questions, the \"what is this number telling us\" conversations. The strategy and the campaign work sit with the rest of the team. Your job is to be the person clients trust, and to explain the marketing clearly, in Japanese.\nWhat the role is\nThe main point of contact for the clients on your book, week to week\nRunning the weekly client call in Japanese, and everything around it\nTurning campaign results into updates a non-marketer can follow\nTelling us what the client actually said, so the work gets sharper\nWorking with our strategy and delivery team, not around them\nFreelance and light to begin with, growing as your book does\nYou'd suit this if\nYou've run paid campaigns somewhere: Amazon, Google, or Meta\nYou can explain performance marketing without the jargon\nJapanese is your working language with clients, English with us\nYou've sat in front of clients before and held your own\nWhat it isn't\nA strategy role. You won't be writing the media plans\nFull-time yet, or a fixed 20 hours a week to start\nA big agency. You'll work directly with me\nAmazon-only. Google or Meta experience carries over fine\nA translation job. You'll work in Japanese, but the job is the client relationship\nHow it works from here\nA call with me, in English. Then a short paid task on real anonymised data, which you walk us through in Japanese the way you would with a client. About two hours, and we pay for it.\nRequirements\nYou've run paid campaigns somewhere.
