This position will involve cross-discipline coordination amongst various departments including procurement, compliance, export control, engineering, finance and management. It is anticipated that support will be required across various existing programs and the pursuit of future programs including proposal support and internal research and development (IRAD) programs across the Space Energy Solutions sector. The organization's commitment to growing its space power portfolio will open future opportunities for the applicant’s career progression.\nEssential Functions:\nManage execution of internal work scope as well as subcontractors including performance, schedule, cost, quality and earned value associated to achieve program objectives and delivery milestones.\nPrepare presentations to suppliers, customers, and internal management including project status, risk management, issues resolution, schedule and cost performance.\nLead implementation of schedule and cost elements for supplier proposals\nActively mentor employees and cultivating a sense of urgency through teamwork and by example\nShape, bid, capture new technology contracts by authoring presentations and papers for customers and/or conferences\nSupport of company internal research and development (IR&D) tasks and pursue and capture new business opportunities related to Radioisotope Power Systems, with support from Business Development.\nTravel to customers and suppliers to support project objectives - at least 4 quarterly trips to suppliers. Additional travel as required during key manufacturing, quality buy-off and in support of issue resolution\nTravel to conferences to establish relationships with customers and suppliers, shape opportunities, present papers, and understand the current state of industry\nQualifications:\nAbility to scope diverse technology program efforts and manage them through completion\nProven ability to utilize oral and written communication skills to build successful teams, presentation skills appropriate for executive-level briefings\nProficient in the use of all the basic MS Office tools and therefore be proficient in computer operating systems, MS Outlook, MS Excel (entering formulas, graphing, developing spreadsheets), MS PowerPoint (presentations, storyboard development, logic diagrams), MS and MS Word (tables, program plans), Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) in excel with the ability to understand, edit, and implement and/or perform the life prediction performance analysis for thermoelectric generators\nRequires U.S. Citizenship or status as a U.S. Person.
