Your primary responsibilities will involve rigorous testing and qualification of mechanical hardware, as well as proficient operation and maintenance of testing machinery. You will be expected to perform complex testing and integration tasks with a high level of precision and expertise. \nWHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO: \nOperating vibration tables and vacuum chambers\nWork with Development Engineers on space flight hardware, reaction wheels & spacecraft\nSupport Neutron R&D testing of flight and development hardware\nCryogenic & gaseous support test equipment\nPrecision inspection of mechanical components\n YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:\nMust be able to demonstrate 2+ years of relevant industry experience\nFamiliarity with the operation of vibe/shaker table\nExperience with compiling concise and accurate test reports\nPrecision mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience\nHands on, comfortable working with basic tools\nComfortable working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service\nHave a good level of eyesight and be able to inspect assemblies to a high workmanship standard\nTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:\nTrade qualified in Automotive, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Fitter/Turner or similar\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written\nThe ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously\nAble to read, understand and follow manufacturing instructions and drawings\nA high work ethic, always seeking more responsibility\nTakes initiative and remains calm under pressure\nComputer literate, and comfortable using smartphones and tablets\nWe are currently have openings on both our Day (Mon - Fri 0600 - 1430) and Evening (Mon - Thurs 1500 - 0130) Shift Patterns.
