Why Rocketlane is Hiring
We are looking for a Global Director, Sales Development to lead our global outbound engine as we scale. You will take ownership of a growing international team, evolving our top-of-funnel strategy from high-volume outreach to a sophisticated, solution-oriented approach.
What You Will Own
As the global leader of our BDR and SDR functions, you will be responsible for the health, productivity, and professional trajectory of a team that sits at the center of our growth strategy. Success in this role means building a world-class talent incubator that consistently fuels our enterprise sales pipeline.
Lead and scale a global team of approximately 30 BDRs and leaders across North America, EMEA, and India.
Transition the outbound strategy away from traditional volume-based metrics toward a high-relevance, solution-oriented approach for our narrow ICP of 8,000 to 10,000 accounts.
Manage second-line leadership capabilities as the team grows, ensuring consistent coaching and performance standards across geographies.
Establish a clear professional development pathway that prepares BDRs for promotion into Account Executive roles within the company.
Partner closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to refine messaging for post-sales and delivery leaders within B2B SaaS organizations.
Navigate the challenges of the modern SDR landscape by implementing creative prospecting techniques that bypass traditional email and call fatigue.
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a culture-first leader who understands that modern outbound requires a mix of data-driven discipline and creative problem-solving.
7+ years of leadership experience, with a specific focus on managing BDR/SDR organizations within a high-growth startup environment.
Proven track record of managing geographically distributed or international teams, specifically in India or EMEA.
Deep understanding of the current B2B landscape and a demonstrated ability to succeed using solution-selling rather than volume-heavy tactics.
Strong stage-fit for a Series C company; you must be comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
High empathy and high accountability leadership style with a passion for mentorship and career development.
B2B SaaS experience is preferred, though we are open to other B2B backgrounds if you have a mastery of BDR management.

Location & Compensation
This is a hybrid role based out of our Lehi, Utah office
- Expected 3 days per week in-office to foster team culture and collaboration.
- Meaningful compensation and equity package in a high-growth, Series C stage company.
- Some travel required, including twice-yearly trips to India/EMEA and international company events.
