We're a team of 100+ backed by $45M from Insight Partners, 8VC, Matrix Partners, and Nexus Venture Partners, and we're building in a space where AI is fundamentally reshaping how services teams work.\nThe Role\nWe're looking for a Senior Product Manager who thinks in systems, builds in prototypes, and ships with urgency. This isn't a role for people who write PRDs and hand them off. It's for someone who can go from a customer conversation to a working proof of concept in days, not sprints.\nYou'll work directly with our founding team across the full product lifecycle. From identifying what to build, to designing AI-powered workflows, to getting them into customers' hands.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild first, spec second. You'll prototype ideas using AI-powered tools like Lovable, Claude, and Cursor to create working demos before a single line of production code is written. Engineers should be able to pick up where you left off.\nOwn AI feature development end-to-end. Identify where AI agents, LLMs, automation can eliminate friction in professional services workflows. Define the interaction, design the feedback loops, prompt-engineer the underlying behavior, and drive it through to launch.\nBe the person closest to the problem. Spend significant time with customers. Not just in discovery calls, but in their workflows. Translate messy, real-world service delivery problems into product that actually changes how they work.\nThink in systems, not features. Design workflows and feedback loops, not one-off capabilities. Ask how the system learns, improves, and scales - not just how it handles the happy path.\nDrive go-to-market as a product artifact. Work with product marketing to turn launches into moments. Build demo environments, write product narratives, and make sure what ships also lands.\nWork across every function. Engineering, design, CS, sales, support - you're the connective tissue. You'll influence without authority and move fast without breaking things (usually).\nWhat We're Looking For\nMust-haves\n4 - 6 years of product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS\n\nHands-on experience building functional prototypes - with Lovable, Cursor, Claude, Bolt, or similar tools. We mean actually building, not just evaluating\n\nComfort working with AI systems: you understand prompt design, LLM limitations, evaluations and how to design human-in-the-loop workflows\n\nStrong systems thinking: you design for the edge cases, the audit trail, the rollback, not just the happy path\n\nHigh agency: you figure things out, you don't wait for someone to unblock you\n\nSharp written communication: your Slack message should be as clear as your spec\n\nStrong signals we look for\nYou've shipped features at a pace that made your engineering team nervous (in a good way)\n\nYou've built something with Lovable, Claude Code, or Cursor that went beyond a toy, it was demoed to customers or used internally\n\nYou have experience in or strong intuition for complex B2B workflows (PSA, ERP, finance, project management, CRM)\n\nYou've designed conversational UX or agentic product experiences. You know the difference between a good agent interaction and a bad one\n\nYou've used AI to do your own job better: research, synthesis, spec writing, competitive analysis\n\nWhat's Different About This Role\nAt Rocketlane, you're not joining a mature PM org with established playbooks. You're one of a small team working directly with the founders. The problems are hard, the customers are sophisticated, and the standard is high. You'll be expected to move faster than feels comfortable - and to use every tool available to you to do it.\nThe upside: your fingerprints will be on the product.
