Our journey has been fueled by $45M in funding from top investors, including 8VC, Matrix Partners, and Nexus Venture Partners.\nWhat You’ll Do?\nPre-Sales Responsibilities\nLead discovery sessions with senior stakeholders to understand business goals, pain points, and process gaps.\n\nCraft solution strategies and deliver high-impact, tailored product demonstrations.\n\nOwn and execute Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) that validate fit and de-risk buying decisions.\n\nServe as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle - leading objection handling, security reviews, and integration discussions.\n\nDrive successful RFP/RFI responses with clarity, precision, and stakeholder alignment.\n\nStrategic Collaboration\nPartner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to influence roadmap and customer outcomes.\n\nDocument and share best practices for demos, POCs, and solution architectures.\n\nHelp build repeatable assets - solution playbooks, templates, and demo environments.\n\nContribute to hiring, onboarding, or mentoring junior Solutions Engineers as we scale.\n\nWhat You Bring?\n5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering / Pre-Sales / Solutions Consulting role, ideally in a fast-paced SaaS environment.\n\nProven success in owning complex, multi-stakeholder deals with technical depth and business alignment.\n\nStrong understanding of APIs, integration architectures, and troubleshooting techniques.\n\nExperience working closely with CRM, project management, or implementation tools (Salesforce, Jira, etc.).\n\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in RFPs, SOWs, and diagramming tools.\n\nAbility to efficiently leverage modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to enhance productivity, accelerate problem-solving, and deliver high-quality pre-sales outputs.\n\nA mix of strategic thinking and tactical execution; comfortable working with both executives and practitioners.\n\nSelf-starter with a high sense of ownership, customer empathy, and a collaborative mindset.\n\nBonus Points For:\nDeep knowledge of the professional services industry and delivery models.\n\nExperience using or selling PSA, project management, or customer onboarding tools.\n\nIntegration experience with ERP or financial systems like NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage.\n\nFamiliarity with embedded iPaaS tools like Workato, Zapier, or Boomi.\n\nComfort with creating mockups, scripts, or light automation to demonstrate product extensibility.\n\nUnderstanding of Salesforce data models, integration strategies, and usage within post-sales teams.\n\nWhy join us?\nAt Rocketlane, we’re all about building a great product and a great place to work.
