Rocketship Public Schools is a non-profit network of public charter elementary schools serving children in underserved communities, free of charge and open to all. Founded in 2006 by John Danner and Preston Smith and run from San Jose, California, it operates schools across California, Wisconsin, Tennessee and Washington DC and has served more than thirty thousand students since its first school opened. A 2023 Stanford CREDO study found its pupils gained the equivalent of five to seven months of extra learning in a single year; the network hires teachers, principals, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists and behaviour analysts.

Our Multi-Tier Systems Support (MTSS) Team serves all students, including across all disabilities (mild, moderate, and severe), through an innovative approach that includes coaching and deep partnership with our general education partners, integrated special education (ISE) partners, school leaders, and related service providers.
