This role offers support for all onsite information technology needs and ensures the quality, security and delivery of information technology systems and services to both the property and its guests. \n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nInstall and maintain computer hardware, software and networks.\nManage and maintain hardware and software; provide training and consultation when necessary. \nMake recommendations about future planning and development of resources.\nTest, implement and monitor servers including database, email, file/print, and back up servers and their associated hardware and software.\nAssist management and staff with the daily functions of IT hardware & software. Address guest impact issues immediately.\nAssist in designing and performing sever and security audit, systems backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.\nMaintain the company LAN and email servers and wireless networks from a hardware and software perspective.\nAct as the first responder to onsite technology incident and request; troubleshoot and resolve hardware, connection, printer and software issues reported to the Help Desk. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment.\nAssist in constructing technology guidelines and safeguards of the company assets.\nUphold the IT guidelines for employees; dictate proper use of computers, peripheral devices, telephones, intranet/internet and all records centers.\nAct as the prime point of contact in securing technology equipment for the company.\nMaintain telecommunications and network resources to optimize workforce efficiency.\nSupport and troubleshoot any issues with SMS, Sage 100, Delphi and Synexys.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nAssociate degree in Information Technology, System Administration or related field required; equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.\nStrong knowledge of network or systems administration.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems including Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010, and Office 365.\nStrong knowledge of networking concepts and application.\nKnowledgeable about wireless technologies.\nExperience administering a Microsoft exchange environment.\nExperience in network security and best practices.\nPrevious hotel experience desired and preferred.\nExperience with payment technologies, mobile payments, POS encryption banking software system (CC processing) and PCI compliance rules.\nSupport and troubleshoot any issues with Oracle Opera, Oracle Simphony, Oracle Payments, OpenTable, Book4Time, Alice and Dayforce.\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record.\nCommitted, patient and positive person with strong work ethic.\nHighly motivated with excellent communication skills; ability to properly communicate instruction and troubleshooting for employees or guests who may have concerns about the use of technology, equipment and software.\nA goal-oriented team player able to work and serve all departments at The Ranch to assure financial and service goals are achieved.\nA creative problem solver with the ability to think on their feet and work with minimum supervision.\nOrganized, with excellent follow-up skills.\n\nThis job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of the position; it is not intended to be an exhaustive list of skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities, or working conditions associated with the position.
