This role will provide onsite technical support and assistance by deploying to field offices of a large federal program. The position is onsite, at Fort Shafter.\nKey Responsibilities:\nConduct network performance evaluations\nEnsuring the reliability and security of critical IT infrastructure\nSystem monitoring\nPatch management\nPerformance tuning and troubleshooting\n Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Computer Science, or related field\n8 years of experience in systems administration for Windows, Linux, or VMware environments\nExcellent knowledge of relevant operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Red Hat, CentOS) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, ESXi).\nProficient in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) and experienced with system monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning.\nExcellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, and maintains currency with industry trends and best practices.\n Preferred Qualifications:Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, RHCSA, RHCE, VMware Certified Professional - VCP)\nFamiliar with Government IT environment, regulatory requirements, data security best practices and policies \nAbility to obtain a Secret Clearance\nHere at rockITdata, we are committed to following our 10 Guiding Principles.\nOur Guiding Principles define our culture.
