This role defines how data is stored, integrated, accessed, and governed across systems to support business strategy, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision-making. This role is based in Rockland with a hybrid model.\nResponsibilities:\nEnterprise Data Architecture\nDesign and implement modern, enterprise-wide data architecture frameworks and standards\nDefine how data is stored, integrated, accessed, and managed across systems\nDevelop and maintain an enterprise data strategy aligned with business objectives\nData Modeling & Systems Design\nLead the design and development of:\nData warehouses (DW) and operational data stores (ODS)\nLogical and physical data models\nIntegration with data quality tools\nDesign scalable data structures to support analytics and reporting\nData Governance, Security & Compliance\nEstablish and enforce data governance frameworks, policies, and standards\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, CCPA)\nMaintain high standards of data quality, integrity, and security across the organization\nPerformance & Optimization\nMonitor database performance and data workloads\nOptimize systems for scalability, reliability, and efficiency\nRecommend and implement performance tuning and improvement strategies\nLeadership & Collaboration\nProvide technical leadership to data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders\nInfluence enterprise data initiatives and IT policies\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units and external vendors \nTools & Technology Strategy\nEvaluate, select, and implement data platforms and tools\nWork with technologies such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, and Azure data platforms\nStay current with emerging data technologies and industry trends\nQualifications\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, database design, and data management (preferably in banking or financial services)\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language\nExcellent leadership and communication skills\nTechnical Skills\nData modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, ER/Studio)\nStrong proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases\nExperience with Snowflake and modern data platforms\nCloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and modern data architecture patterns \nKnowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks\nBenefits & Culture\nOur goal is to offer our colleagues the most generous benefits package possible.
