You'll take ownership of meaningful projects that will help shape and strengthen the future of the Corporate Security program.\nThroughout the summer, you'll work directly with Corporate Security leaders and business partners to analyze workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, develop professional documentation, and help create a more efficient, scalable, and audit-ready security operation.\nIn addition to your department responsibilities, you'll also participate in a collaborative summer intern project, working alongside fellow interns to solve a real business challenge, strengthen your teamwork and presentation skills, and share your findings with organizational leadership.\nThis internship is designed to help you learn, grow, build your professional network, and develop career-ready skills that can support future opportunities in business operations, project management, security management, process improvement, consulting, risk management, and beyond.\nWhat You'll Do\nProcess Mapping & Documentation\nHelp transform how Corporate Security documents and manages critical business processes by:\nDocumenting and mapping key Corporate Security processes and workflows.\nDeveloping process flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\nCreating RACI matrices and process inventories for critical security functions.\nPotential processes include:\nAccess control and badge management\nEmployee onboarding and offboarding\nAudit, Risk, and Compliance documentation and evidence management\nIncident reporting and investigations\nAlarm monitoring and response\nKey control management\nEmergency response procedures\nVendor and contractor management, including monthly AP processes\nProcess Improvement & Lean Review\nPut your analytical and problem-solving skills to work by:\nAnalyzing current workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and redundant steps.\nApplying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to recommend process improvements.\nAssisting in the development of future-state workflows and standardized procedures.\nHelping create solutions that improve operational efficiency and long-term scalability.\nDocumentation & Knowledge Management\nHelp build a foundation for sustainable program growth by:\nInventorying existing security policies, procedures, forms, and operational documents.\nAssisting with the organization of a centralized SharePoint-based document repository.\nRecommending version control and document governance standards.\nSupporting knowledge-sharing efforts that improve consistency and organizational readiness.\nMetrics & Reporting\nGain exposure to data-driven decision making by:\nHelping identify and document key performance indicators (KPIs) for security operations.\nAssisting in the development of reporting templates and dashboard concepts.\nSupporting data collection, reporting, and analysis activities.\nContributing to meaningful metrics that help measure operational success.\nYour Summer Project Experience\nBeyond your day-to-day responsibilities, you'll collaborate with fellow interns on cross-functional summer projects designed to address a real business challenge.
