The ideal candidate should be comfortable investigating technical issues, analyzing data, prioritizing opportunities, and working within a modern development environment to implement improvements.\nResponsibilities\nManage and improve search engine optimization performance across a portfolio of client websites.\nConduct technical website audits, identifying and resolving issues related to indexing, crawling, redirects, structured data, internal linking, site architecture, and performance.\nUse Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEMrush to monitor organic search performance, rankings, traffic, and conversions.\nWork with Google Tag Manager to implement, troubleshoot, and validate analytics and conversion tracking.\nIdentify on-page optimization opportunities, including content improvements, metadata, heading structures, internal linking, and search intent alignment.\nDevelop and execute strategies to improve visibility across artificial intelligence search experiences, including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and other emerging platforms.\nAnalyze website and landing page performance to identify opportunities for increased engagement and conversion rates.\nEvaluate keyword performance, competitive positioning, and emerging search trends.\nCollaborate with the development team to implement technical website improvements.\nCreate actionable reporting that clearly communicates performance, opportunities, and priorities.\nStay current with changes in Google's algorithms, artificial intelligence search, and evolving technical search engine optimization best practices.\nRequired Qualifications\nStrong professional experience in technical and on-page search engine optimization.\nAdvanced working knowledge of Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Google Analytics.\nExperience with Google Tag Manager, including event tracking, conversion tracking, and troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of crawling, indexing, website sitemaps, redirects, canonical tags, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.\nDemonstrated experience improving organic search performance through data-driven strategies.\nFamiliarity with artificial intelligence search visibility, generative engine optimization, and answer engine optimization.\nAbility to analyze complex website performance and analytics data and translate findings into specific actions.\nComfortable working independently, managing priorities, and communicating clearly in a remote environment.\nTechnology Stack\nThey operate on a modern website development stack, including:\nAstro Static Site Generator for fast, high-performance websites.\nGitHub for version control and collaboration.\nCursor for artificial intelligence assisted development and code editing.\nNetlify for hosting and deployment.\n Internal tools for reporting, search engine optimization analysis, artificial intelligence visibility, and website management.\nExperience with these technologies is strongly preferred.
