However, this is a coding position, not a prompt-only development role. Primary responsibilities will focus on deploying new customer websites, maintaining existing websites, implementing updates, and resolving technical issues.\nThis role is focused on customer-facing website development and management rather than building or modifying the company's internal backend systems.\nThey're looking for someone who produces clean, professional code, communicates clearly, responds quickly, and can independently manage multiple website projects.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild, deploy, maintain, and improve customer websites using Cursor, GitHub, Netlify, and other modern development tools.\nWrite, review, debug, and maintain website code, using Cursor to accelerate development while ensuring all code meets professional standards.\nIndependently identify and resolve coding issues, including problems that cannot be solved through artificial intelligence generated suggestions alone.\nManage GitHub repositories, including creating and managing branches, committing changes, reviewing differences, resolving merge conflicts, and managing pull requests.\nHandle website deployments through Netlify, including configuration, domain management, deployment troubleshooting, and hosting maintenance.\nImplement website updates, new pages, design adjustments, integrations, and ongoing customer requests.\nTroubleshoot and resolve website functionality issues, broken integrations, deployment errors, and performance problems.\nFollow web security best practices, including secure configuration, dependency management, access controls, and protection of sensitive information.\nMaintain clean, organized, well-structured, and professional code across customer projects.\nCollaborate with the company's leadership to prioritize customer requests, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality.\nEnsure websites are responsive, fast, accessible, and compatible across modern browsers and devices.\nManage technical aspects of website launches, including domain configuration, redirects, forms, and third-party integrations.\nReview and validate artificial intelligence generated code before deployment to ensure accuracy, security, reliability, and maintainability.\nRespond promptly to technical requests, communicate project status clearly, and proactively identify potential issues.\nWhat You'll Need\nStrong professional experience in website development, including the ability to write and troubleshoot code independently.\nSolid proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.\nDemonstrated ability to understand website architecture, code structure, application logic, and development best practices.\nExperience using Cursor or similar artificial intelligence assisted development environments to improve coding efficiency.\nStrong proficiency with GitHub, including repository management, branching strategies, pull requests, merging, conflict resolution, and version control.\nHands-on experience with Netlify for website hosting, deployments, domain management, and troubleshooting.\nAbility to independently review, debug, modify, and improve code generated through artificial intelligence tools.\nStrong understanding of website security principles and best practices.\nExperience integrating website forms, analytics platforms, tracking scripts, and third-party services.\nAbility to troubleshoot technical issues independently and implement reliable solutions.\nStrong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to writing clean, professional, maintainable code.\nExcellent communication skills, fast response times, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Astro Static Site Generator and static website architecture.\nFamiliarity with search engine optimization best practices, including technical website performance, structured data, redirects, and metadata.\nExperience working with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.\nExperience with custom domains, domain name system configuration, secure connections, and website migrations.\nExperience managing multiple customer websites simultaneously.\nFamiliarity with modern website performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.\nTechnology Stack\nThe company operates on a modern website development stack, including:\nCursor for artificial intelligence assisted development and code editing.\nGitHub for version control, repository management, and collaboration.\nNetlify for website hosting, deployment, and domain management.\nAstro Static Site Generator for building fast, high-performance websites.\nInternal tools for website management, reporting, and customer operations.\nExperience with Cursor, GitHub, and Netlify is especially important.
