And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nAs the Finance BI Intern you will play an active, hands-on role within the Finance BI Team at Rockwell Automation. As a Finance BI Intern, you will learn by working on BI and analytics projects. You will build modern dashboards, explore AI-powered solutions, and collaborate with experienced BI, Data, IT, and Finance professionals. This role is a great opportunity to develop practical skills in Power BI, data analytics, and Microsoft AI technologies.\nMain Technologies:\nMicrosoft Power BI (including semantic models)\nAzure SQL Data Warehouse\nMicrosoft Fabric\nMicrosoft AI Capabilities (Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot)\nYou will report directly to Finance Data Solutions Lead and work in hybrid model with office in Katowice.\nYour Responsibilities:\nHelp design and then build modern, self-service dashboards and reports for different teams.\nDevelop your knowledge of company data, semantic models, and our reporting environment.\nUse Microsoft AI capabilities to accelerate development, automate routine tasks, and introduce natural-language analytics.\nHelp maintain secure, reliable, and user-friendly BI solutions following company standards.\nCollaborate with BI and Data Science colleagues on solutions using AI and machine learning.\nSupport user testing, gather feedback, and help improve our solutions.\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nStudent status in Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.\nAvailability to work at least 20 hours per week (flexible around your class schedule)\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:\nBasic knowledge of data analysis concepts, and an interest in Business Intelligence\nBasic knowledge of SQL\nGood English - verbal and written\nFirst hands-on exposure to Microsoft Power BI (or a similar BI tool) - coursework, personal or academic projects count\nFamiliarity with Excel (Power Query, pivot tables) or Python\nInterest in or first experience with AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot or GitHub Copilot\nBasic experience with finance or accounting concepts\nPrevious internship, student project, or student organization experience in a data-related area\nWhat We Offer:\nPaid internship\nLunch Card - Monthly meal vouchers through the Edenred card.\nOn-demand digital course library for professional development\nAt Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
