And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nPosition Summary\nThe LCS Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing the data platforms, pipelines, and integration frameworks that power Business Intelligence, analytics, AI, and operational reporting across Lifecycle Services (LCS).\nReporting into the LCS Business Intelligence & Data Governance Manager, this role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, BI developers, analysts, IT, and digital teams, ensuring that LCS data is accurate, accessible, secure, scalable, and ready to support data-driven decision making.\nYour Responsibilities:\nData Architecture & Engineering\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that integrate information from ERP, CRM, service management, financial, operational, and other enterprise systems.\n\nBuild and optimize data models, data warehouses, data marts, and semantic layers that support reporting and analytics requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain ELT/ETL processes to ensure reliable and efficient movement of data across platforms.\n\nSupport cloud-based and enterprise data architectures with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.\n\nPartner with enterprise IT teams to align LCS data solutions with corporate standards and technology roadmaps.\n\nBusiness Intelligence Enablement\nProvide high-quality, trusted datasets for Power BI dashboards, operational reports, and self-service analytics.\n\nCollaborate with BI developers and analysts to understand reporting requirements and translate them into robust data solutions.\n\nImprove data availability, refresh performance, and reliability across key business intelligence platforms.\n\nSupport development of KPI definitions and standardized business metrics.\n\nData Quality & Governance\nEstablish and maintain processes to improve data quality, consistency, integrity, and completeness.\n\nPartner with business and functional leaders to define data standards, ownership, and governance procedures.\n\nImplement monitoring, validation, and automated quality controls to ensure trusted business insights.\n\nSupport compliance with enterprise data management, privacy, cybersecurity, and governance requirements.\n\nAI & Advanced Analytics Readiness\nDevelop data structures that support predictive analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.\n\nCollaborate with IT, automation, and AI teams to ensure data readiness for emerging technologies.\n\nSupport creation of reusable, governed data assets that enable future Copilot, AI, and advanced analytics initiatives.\n\nDrive continuous improvement of analytics infrastructure and data engineering practices.\n\nStakeholder Partnership\nAct as a technical advisor on data architecture, integration approaches, and analytics enablement opportunities.\n\nTranslate complex technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical audiences.\n\nContribute to strategic initiatives that increase productivity, operational visibility, and business performance.\n\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nTechnical Expertise\nStrong experience in data engineering, data architecture, and enterprise analytics environments.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of SQL and relational database design.\n\nExperience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.\n\nExperience with Azure Data Platform technologies such as:\nAzure Data Factory\n\nAzure Synapse\n\nAzure Databricks\n\nMicrosoft Fabric\n\nDataverse\n\nAzure SQL\n\nExperience supporting Power BI, tabular models, and semantic data layers.\n\nUnderstanding of API integrations, enterprise applications, and data interoperability patterns.\n\nFamiliarity with modern DevOps practices, version control, and automated deployment methods.\n\nPreferred Experience\nBachelor’s or Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (completed or in the final stages of completion), or equivalent professional experience.\n\nExperience supporting service, manufacturing, industrial automation, engineering, or technology organizations.\n\nFamiliarity with ERP, CRM, service management, and financial systems.\n\nExperience with AI, advanced analytics, or automation platforms.\n\nKnowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and product-based delivery models.\n\nKey Soft Skills\nStrategic Thinking - Understands business priorities and designs scalable data solutions that support long-term organizational goals.\n\nCollaboration & Influence - Builds strong relationships across business, IT, and leadership teams.
