Job Description
As a Finance AI Value Architect within Finance's AI Center of Excellence, you own how Finance finds, sizes, and prioritizes the value created by AI, automation, analytics, and process improvement. You pair finance domain experience with fluency in AI and emerging technology - translating business objectives into value-based transformation roadmaps, building the business cases behind investment decisions, and making sure the efficiency we generate is reinvested where it creates the most value. You will work closely with Finance, Digital Transformation, and Technology teams to develop business cases, establish value-measurement frameworks, and give leadership clear visibility into portfolio performance and realized benefits. You will report to the PMO Lead and work in a hybrid model based in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Own the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of Finance AI transformation opportunities - assessing business needs, expected outcomes, resource requirements, and strategic alignment to decide where AI and automation create measurable value.
- Develop and maintain business cases, value-realization plans, and benefit-tracking frameworks for AI initiatives.
- Partner with Finance, Technology, PMO, and business stakeholders to define value metrics, set success criteria, and guide investment decisions - including where they reinvest efficiency gains for the greatest return.
- Monitor portfolio performance and report on expected vs. realized benefits (hard savings, soft savings, cost avoidance), key risks, dependencies, and value delivered.
- Champion the standards, methodologies, and governance that make value management consistent across Finance projects and transformation programs.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field - or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, PMO, Business Analysis, or Value Management. Additionally, you have hands-on finance domain experience, which is essential because you understand how Finance actually runs.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end finance processes such as P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A, or T&E.
- Proven experience developing business cases, ROI assessments, and benefits-realization plans.
- Practical experience evaluating and shaping AI, automation, analytics, or process-improvement initiatives - and translating them into business value.
- Experience building value-realization frameworks and benefits-tracking methodologies.
- Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, and finance automation technologies.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certifications.
What We Offer:
- Medical Plan - Includes coverage for partners and children. Paid by Rockwell, subject to tax and social security contributions payable by you.
- Medicover Sport Program - Includes a sports card with weekly entries to sports, recreation and wellbeing facilities within the Medicover network.
- Pension Scheme - Participation in Employee Capital Plans (PPK), a voluntary long-term retirement savings program provided in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Life insurance - Group life insurance, including disability coverage. Paid by Rockwell, subject to tax and social security contributions payable by you.
- MyBenefit Platform - Access to a flexible benefits platform, with monthly points allocated by the employer.
- Lunch Card - Monthly meal vouchers through the Edenred card.
- OnTrack - A wellbeing platform that encourages movement and healthy habits.
- Employee Assistance Program - Access to personal coaching and resources to support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing goals.
- Calm Premium - Tools for relaxation, meditation, focus and sleep.
