You will be located in Chelmsford, MA or Milwaukee, WI.\nWhat You Will Do:\nPerform Product Cybersecurity Risk Assessments\nHelp conduct cybersecurity risk assessments for connected industrial control products, edge devices, and integrated solutions under the guidance of senior engineers. \nSupport technical readiness activities for the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)\nHelp develop audit-ready assessment reports, compliance evidence, and maintaining end-to-end traceability between requirements, threats, controls, and verification artifacts. \nSupport risk disposition, exception management, and remediation tracking workflows.\nSupport Threat Modeling & Secure Product Development. \nParticipate in architectural threat-modeling sessions across early concept through sustaining product lifecycles. \nHelp evaluate hardware, firmware, software, and communication interfaces from an attacker's perspective to identify assets, trust boundaries, and attack paths. \nHelp engineering teams evaluate and resolve identified product security vulnerabilities. \nAnalyze OT / ICS Security & Industrial Protocols\nHands-on exposure to Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control System (ICS) architectures, controller environments (PLCs), and defense-in-depth network segmentation. \nTest protocols with a focus on EtherNet/IP, Common Industrial Protocol (CIP), and Modbus.\nHelp with test harness execution, packet-level analysis, and security verification of industrial control devices in dedicated lab/testbed environments. \nManage Vulnerabilities & Software Supply Chain (SBOM)\nHelp with technical vulnerability assessment (CVE analysis) and remediation prioritization.Ingest and correlate \nSoftware Bills of Materials (SBOMs) with known vulnerabilities, component trees, and device configurations.\nBuild automated scripts and workflows to improve routine vulnerability evaluation, reporting, and SBOM data aggregation. \nBuild Product Security Automation & Enterprise Integrations\nDesign Python-based tools, scripts, and pipelines to automate evidence collection, data normalization, metrics generation, and assessment reporting.\nDevelop REST API integrations to query and correlate data across engineering and security platforms, including ThreatModeler, Jama Connect, Jira / Jira Align, SAP, and vulnerability/SBOM repositories.Parse, transform, and validate structured data formats, including JSON, XML, and YAML. \nPrototype AI-Assisted Assessment Workflows\nSupport prototyping and development of AI-assisted security assessment capabilities to scale evaluations across a large product portfolio. \nHelp build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, system prompt libraries, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool connectors using engineering specifications.\nHelp implement deterministic validation checks and auditability controls ensuring AI outputs strictly reference ground-truth engineering evidence. \nMaintain Test Infrastructure & Tooling\nSupport development and administration of Linux-based product security test environments and toolchains.Use Git for version control, collaborative code reviews, and CI/CD workflow automation, with exposure to containerized environments (Docker) and configuration tools (Ansible)\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nPursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree from an accredited college or university\nLegal authorization to work in the US is required- we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or anytime in the future.\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity\nMinimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale\nLocated within 50 miles (commuting distance) of our office in either Chelmsford, MA or Milwaukee, WI\nExpected graduation date is December 2025 or beyond\nMet on campus, national recruiting events, a Rockwell Automation-hosted event, or a targeted recruiting campaign\n2 years of experience in Software programming\nSkilled in cybersecurity fundamentals\nCompleted course work with C/C++, Assembly Language and Digital Logic\nParticipated in Cyber Competitions\nHas experience working with logic analyzer, oscilloscope and voltage meter.\nExperience with Kali Linux, Metasploit.\nFamiliar with OSINT\nExperience with Python and working with rest API's\nWhat We Offer:\nHealth Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision\n401k\nFlexible Work Schedule\nTo learn more about our benefits package, please visit at www.raquickfind.com\nAt Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
