And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nWe are looking for an Electrical Engineer Intern who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in electrical hardware development. You will work alongside and receive mentorship from experienced electrical engineers while contributing to the development and testing of electrical hardware used in industrial products.\nYou will report to the Engineering Manager in either Mequon, WI or Eden Prairie, MN. This role does not provide relocation assistance.\nYour Responsibilities:\nAssist with the design and validation of alternate electronic components to achieve cost reduction or address component obsolescence.\nDesign PCB schematic and support PCB layout.\nSupport hardware testing and validation in accordance with established test plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.\nAssist with failure analysis and documentation, contributing to root cause investigations and corrective action processes.\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nPursuing a Bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university.\nLegal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:\nPursuing degree in electrical engineering or similar\nMust be enrolled for at least one more semester of school after the internship concludes (graduation date of December 2027 or later)\nLocal or attending school in either the Milwaukee or Minneapolis/St. Paul area (within 50 miles from the Mequon or Eden Prairie location)\nMinimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale\nPreference given to students met on campus, at a national recruiting event, through a Rockwell Automation-hosted event or a targeted recruiting campaign.\nCoursework or project experience involving PCBA design and layout, Power Electronics, Motor Control, FPGA, DSP and etc. \nExperience with tools or technologies such as Jira, Jama, and LTSpice\nExperience with electrical design and schematic capture\nExposure to industrial communication technologies.\nExperience troubleshooting technical problems.\nCuriosity, initiative, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and solving engineering problems.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nHealth Insurance including Medical, Dental and Vision\n401k\nPaid Time off\nFlexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a work schedule that can be flexible with your personal life.\nTo learn more about our benefits package, please visit at www.raquickfind.com.\nAt Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
