And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nRockwell Automation is seeking a commercially minded Product Manager with a foundational understanding of AC or servo drives to join the Global Low Voltage Drives team. Reporting to the Global Business Manager, Compact AC Drives, this Singapore-based role owns an assigned global portfolio of existing and new products within the Component Drives business.\nYou will own product strategy, commercial performance, commercialization, and lifecycle management, connecting customer applications and technical requirements with business opportunities. Working across global teams, you will deliver differentiated products, successful launches, and profitable growth while championing practical, consistent customer experience.\nYou will report to Senior Business manager based in Singapore.\nYour Responsibilities:\nProduct strategy: Own the global portfolio strategy, roadmap, positioning, pricing, and performance, including revenue, margin, business cases, demand forecasts, and investment priorities.\nCustomer and market insight: Engage customers, OEMs, distributors, and regional teams to understand applications, validate product concepts, and identify market trends and competitive opportunities.\nRequirements and prioritization: Translate customer needs into prioritized requirements and acceptance criteria, balancing customer value, business return, technical feasibility, quality, and delivery risk.\nCustomer experience: Champion ease of selection, commissioning, integration, and operation, including migration from existing products.\nNew products and launches: Partner with engineering to deliver validated products on time; own commercial readiness, including value propositions, sales training, channel readiness, and adoption plans.\nLifecycle management: Drive cost optimization and manage product changes, obsolescence, supply continuity risks, and end-of-life transitions with engineering and supply chain.\nCross-functional leadership: Align global teams, resolve trade-offs across scope, funding, capacity, risk, and communicate decisions and escalation needs.\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nBachelor’s degree; engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.\nFoundational understanding of AC or servo drives, motor-control principles, and industrial applications, with a willingness to develop deeper AC drive expertise.\nStrategic and analytical skills to translate customer needs into product direction, priorities, and business cases.\nProven ability to influence across global, cross-functional teams.\nAbility to communicate technical capabilities as customer benefits and business value to technical and commercial audiences.\nWillingness to travel up to 25%.\nWillingness to join evening calls as needed across global time zones.\nLegal authorization to work in Singapore (no visa sponsorship).\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:\n8+ years in product management, engineering, applications, technical sales, or marketing within AC drives or industrial automation.\nCustomer-facing experience with AC or servo drives in technical sales, application engineering, field service, or technical support.\nHands-on experience selecting, configuring, commissioning, troubleshooting, or integrating AC or servo drives.\nKnowledge of PLCs, industrial networks, and IIoT architecture.\nFamiliarity with SAFe/Agile and requirements tools such as Jira, Jira Align, or Jama.\nExperience developing business cases, pricing strategies, commercial launch plans, or product lifecycle and migration strategies.\nProactive, analytical approach and comfort with ambiguity.\nWhat We Offer:\nHealth Insurance including comprehensive In-patient coverage.\nOut-Patient benefits including clinical consultation, prescribed medication, telemedicine, health screening, dental & vision.\nLife and Accident Protection - covering death and disability due to natural cause, illness, and accident.\n#LI-Hybrid #LI-NC1\nAt Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
