And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nJob Description:\nProposal Consultant\nYou will report to:Proposal Manager\nWork Model: Hybrid\nLocation: Mexico City\nRole Purpose:\nStrategic/Technical Expertise:\nEmploy commercial and technical skills while tapping your creative side to maximize Rockwell profit and growth opportunities.\nNegotiate internally and externally applying a sound understanding of cost, value, and profit margin to establish pricing with approvals • Approve costs, pricing, margins, and other commercial terms.\nConvincingly explain our value message and business models in many scenarios and situations, including through direct sales channels or through distributors.\nSupport proposals with customers while instilling confidence in the proposed solution.\nFollow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory procedures for this position.\nEngage with sales, other internal areas and customers to follow up on proposals\nManage project reviews including risk analysis\nCollaboration and Management Skills:\nWork in a cross-functional environment, which is both commercially and technically focused. Engage with various stakeholders, including other Proposal Consultants, Application Consultants, Sales/Distributors, Channel Partners, RA Business Units, Contracts and Negotiations, and other key team members as required.\nObtain approvals in compliance with Rockwell policies including executive level (PARB) approvals.\nCoordinate legal terms and conditions to support proposal delivery terms, which includes working with the C&N legal and contracts team, third-party, and customers, as needed.\nMaintain proposal and other tools on a regular basis as opportunities evolve to support automation of important activities (e.g., forecasting) and facilitate timely opportunity management without the need to ensure data quality while being available at any time.\nActively seek out and participate in continuous improvement through feedback and training opportunities that will address identified gaps and further strengthen required skills.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor degree \nFluent in English.\n+5 years of experience\nYou:\n5+ years related experience in an industrial environment (proposals, engineering, projects, maintenance, and support).\n Strong knowledge of industrial products and applications, including Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation products (PLCs, HMIs, Rockwell Automation Software, etc.)\n Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation Medium Voltage VFDs\nExperience working with third-party suppliers to provide additional products/services (scope integration).\nExperience in a customer-facing role, either engineering and implementing projects or in a sales role.\n Able to work in a, matrixed organization team.\nDemonstrated to develop proposals, convey project status updates, design information, technical issues/resolutions, and complete project milestone reviews.\nFluent in English\nCommitment with our values and responsibilities.\nJob Description\nThe Proposal Consultant is a highly visible position working with key Rockwell Automation stakeholders and customers to develop commercial offers within the framework of the company's strategic business and financial goals, ensuring compliance with internal policies. Leverage this knowledge and engage with other key team consultants as necessary to fulfill scope requirements.
