And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nAs a Production Assembler Level 1, you will perform a variety of light assembly operations, including sub-assembly work, wire preparation, and material processing while following documented work instructions and quality standards. You will support production activities across multiple product lines and contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence initiatives. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work onsite in Cambridge, Ontario on the afternoon shift.\nYour Responsibilities:\nPerform light assembly operations, including sub-assembly, wire preparation, MTX wire machine operation, and Central Media activities using documented work instructions, pick lists, and bills of materials.\nFollow work instructions, drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to complete assembly tasks while meeting quality standards.\nTroubleshoot basic assembly issues and complete minimal wiring procedures as required.\nAccurately report labor activity, work order progress, and Critical to Quality (CTQ) data in Factory Talk Production Centre (FTPC).\nParticipate in safety programs, LEAN/Six Sigma initiatives, training activities, and support cross-functional production needs as required.\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:\nEntry-level manufacturing, assembly, or production experience, or willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to read and understand documented work instructions (DWIs).\nBasic computer skills to access and enter job-related information.\nMechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.\nAbility to safely use hand tools, power tools, and machinery.\nAbility to lift up to 35 pounds.\nAbility to sit and/or stand for extended periods.\nManufacturing or production assembly experience.\nExperience with sub-assembly, wire preparation, or wiring activities.\nExperience reading mechanical or electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, or schematics.\nExperience using SAP and Factory Talk Production Centre (FTPC).\nExposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement programs.\nExperience working within ISO-regulated manufacturing environments.\nExperience training or assisting other production employees.\nWhat We Offer:\nHealth Insurance including Medical and Dental\nHealth Care Spending Account (HCSA - dependent on the plan chosen)\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nRetirement plans\nPaid Time off\nVolunteering Time off\nEmployer Savings Plan Matching (includes RRSP, TFSA, and EPSP)\nEmployer Paid DC Pension\nMaternity and Parental Leave Top-Up\nFitness Reimbursement Program\nFlexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a work schedule that can be flexible with your personal life.\nThis position is part of a job family.
