And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nAs a Prototype Assembler Level 3P, you will assemble and wire products across multiple product lines using mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, bills of material, and documented work instructions. You will troubleshoot assembly and wiring issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain high standards for quality, safety, and productivity. You will work onsite in Cambridge, Ontario as part of the manufacturing team, supporting prototype and production assembly operations.\nYour Responsibilities:\nAssemble and wire products across multiple product lines using mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of material, pick lists, and documented work instructions.\nTroubleshoot unusual assembly and wiring issues and provide recommendations for potential design improvements.\nAccurately report labor activities, work order progress, and Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements using Factory Talk Production Centre (FTPC).\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives through participation in LEAN and Six Sigma activities, process improvement efforts, and job rotation programs.\nAssist in training and coaching employees while ensuring all work meets quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:\nExperience wiring and assembling industrial control panels, electrical equipment, or automation products.\nRead and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and documented work instructions.\nExperience safely using manual tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to lift up to 35 lbs.\nAbility to stand and/or sit for extended periods.\nVisual acuity and hand dexterity required to perform detailed assembly work.\nExperience using SAP, Factory Talk Production Centre (FTPC), or similar manufacturing systems.\nKnowledge of LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience training, coaching, or assisting less experienced assemblers\nWhat We Offer:\nHealth Insurance including Medical and Dental\nHealth Care Spending Account (HCSA - dependent on the plan chosen)\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nRetirement plans\nPaid Time off\nVolunteering Time off\nEmployer Savings Plan Matching (includes RRSP, TFSA, and EPSP)\nEmployer Paid DC Pension\nMaternity and Parental Leave Top-Up\nFitness Reimbursement Program\nFlexible Work Schedule where you will work with your manager to enjoy a work schedule that can be flexible with your personal life.\nThis position is part of a job family.
