And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nThe FactoryTalk® ControlFLASH Plus® team is part of Software & Control (S&C), developing software solutions used in industrial automation.\nControlFLASH Plus® is a software tool used for updating firmware in industrial devices. It provides an intuitive interface for identifying installed firmware versions, reviewing available updates, managing firmware packages, and accessing device lifecycle information, critical announcements, and release notes.\nWhen you join our Software Development group as a Software Engineering Intern, you will become part of an agile development team and gain hands-on experience working on a commercial software product used by customers around the world.\nYou will work with experienced software engineers and have the opportunity to develop your skills in C#/.NET, software design, automated testing, continuous integration, and modern software development practices.\nYou will report to the Manager, Software Development and work in a hybrid model in Katowice, Poland.\nYour Responsibilities\nHelp develop ControlFLASH Plus®.\nDevelop software components using C# and .NET.\nWrite clean, readable, and maintainable code with support from experienced engineers.\nCreate unit and integration tests.\nParticipate in code reviews and technical discussions.\nLearn and apply software engineering best practices and design principles.\nWork with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, and qTest.\nParticipate in an Agile/Scrum development process.\nCollaborate with local and global engineering teams.\nLearn about industrial automation products and software development in a large-scale engineering environment.\nThe Essentials - You Will Have\nActive student status in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation and Robotics, or a related technical field.\nBasic programming knowledge of C# and .NET.\nExperience with object-oriented programming.\nBasic knowledge of data structures and software development concepts.\nStay informed about relevant technology trends and developments and develop software engineering skills.\nCommunicative English\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have\nExperience with C#/.NET projects developed as part of university coursework, personal projects, or open-source contributions.\nBasic knowledge of Git.\nFamiliarity with unit testing.\nBasic knowledge of REST APIs and client-server applications.\nFamiliarity with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS.\nBasic knowledge of CI/CD concepts.\nInterest in industrial automation, embedded systems, or engineering software.\nPersonal or university projects available on GitHub are welcome.\nWhat We Offer:\nPaid internship\nLunch Card - Monthly meal vouchers through the Edenred card.\nOn-demand digital course library for professional development\nAt Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
