You will lead engagement teams, define solution architectures and integration strategies, and serve as primary technical advisor to clients deploying industrial data platforms.\n\nYour Responsibilities:\nSolution Design & ArchitectureLead the design of end-to-end industrial data solutions\nDefine data models, integration patterns, and system architectures aligned with business goals.\nDefine end-to-end architectures leveraging industrial data management solutions, cloud platforms, and edge data ingestion technologies.\nEnsure scalability, security, and performance of deployed solutions.\n\nStakeholder EngagementCollaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.\nPresent architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nImplementation & DeliveryLead project implementations in a client-facing role.\nGuide development teams during implementation phases.\nOversee data ingestion, contextualization, and visualization workflows.\nOversee and develop ingestion pipelines, APIs, and integration services.\nEstablish development standards, CI/CD practices, and code quality expectations.\nAct as the primary technical advisor for clients adopting our industrial data solutions.\nEnsure quality assurance and compliance with best practices.\n\nTechnical LeadershipStay current with industry leading data platforms and industry trends.\nMentor junior architects, developers, and engineers.\nContribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices.\n\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nBachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.\nWillingness to travel up to 50%\nTypically 6-10 years of related experience working for a Systems Integrator or Consulting organization.\nStrong understanding and practical experience implementing industrial data systems (e.g., historians, SCADA, PLCs, MES, ERP).\nExperience leading technical teams and managing client-facing delivery.\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:\n5+ years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering, or software development.\nHands-on experience with Cognite Data Fusion, FactoryTalk Data Mosaix, PTC ThingWorx, or similar industrial data platforms.\nProficiency in cloud technologies, APIs, and data modeling.\nExperience with Python, SQL, and RESTful APIs.\nFamiliarity with time-series data and contextualization techniques.\nKnowledge of industrial domains such as mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, or energy.\nCertifications in cloud and industrial data platforms\nPrior consulting or system integrator experience.\nFamiliarity with machine learning model development and MLOps practices.\nUnderstanding of data governance, access management, and cybersecurity in industrial contexts.\nExcellent communication skills and ability to interact with both executive and technical stakeholders.\nExperience in asset performance management, production monitoring, or advanced process control\nWhat We Offer:\nOur benefits package includes …\nComprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to Calm\nVolunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employees\nCompany volunteer and donation matching program - Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation.\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPersonalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack program\nOn-demand digital course library for professional development\n... and other local benefits!\nAt Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
