And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nJOB SUMMARY:\nWith direction in the form of reported goals, supports the introduction of new products to the manufacturing facility following the RA Common Product Development (CPD) processes. Work with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure optimum product and process design for manufacturability. Develop and implement manufacturing layout and processes and associated documentation, estimates manufacturing cost, and coordinates execution of prototype and pilot activities. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.\nYou will report to MANAGER, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING working in Hybrid Mode, Bangalore location.\nYour Responsibilities:\nActively serve as the Industrialization representative, in all phases, on NPI/Continuation Engineering project teams, for both EA and FA.\nDesign, manufacturing processes and testing experience on PCBA BUILD\nWork closely with Build Team in ensuring build success.\nGreat experience on PCBA design such as routing, component selection, component placement, material selections, heat generation and dissipation methods, reliability design w.r.t shock & vibration, Assembly method process review, etc.\nHaving strong experience on study and review of PCBA design for better cost, quality and process time, in accordance with takt/cycle time, yield performance, false rejects, etc.\nExcellence on DfX (Design for Manufacturing & Assembly) tools and optimizing the design.\nLead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) analyses.\nIdentify assembly equipment, tooling, and fixture requirements. Participate in the procurement, installation and validation activities.\nVery strong experience on Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)\nCost review of the PCBA design/processes and coordination with vendors for better costs.\nElectronics Assembly machinery knowledge, such as SMT, reflow, selective soldering, wave soldering, etc\nCreate Documented Work Instructions (DWI).\nCoordinate prototype and pilot build and evaluation activities.\nEnsure compliance to all production environmental, health, and safety requirements.\nFacilitate final acceptance of all new assembly processes\nApply engineering and familiarity of Rockwell Automation systems to perform duties and responsibilities.\nIndependently research, develop and implement cost reduction and process improvement projects. May lead a small team to complete these projects.\nContribute to yearly productivity savings to ISC organization.\nTrack product manufacturing cost throughout the NPI project.\nEffectively work concurrently on multiple NPI and non-NPI projects.\nGood Communicatation skills required, both verbally and in written form, to a broad audience of varying technical and cultural background.\nLead others from within and outside of the Industrialization group to achieve common objectives.\nUse facts and logic.\nWorking experience with SAP, Optel, OMS, etc\nExperience in working with cross functional teams.\nThe Essentials - You Will Have:\nBachelor / master's degree in industrial/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering\nMinimum of 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nIPC standards.\nSome travel may require.\nThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:\nDevelop and update the Manufacturing Plan.\nDesign production floor layouts, if needed.\nContribute to development of group level goals and strategies for achieving those goals.\nTeach other Industrialization Engineers how they perform the work that is expected of them.
