And if that’s you we would love to have you join us!\nJob Description\nWe are looking for a Senior WebFOCUS Developer & Administrator to design, build and run our enterprise BI platform. You will combine hands-on WebFOCUS development with platform administration and governance, supporting Dev, QA and Production environments. You will also mentor junior developers and BI engineers and work with infrastructure, operations and partner teams to make sure BI solutions meet the organization’s needs.\nYou will report to the Manager, Software Engineering and have a hybrid schedule working in Pune, India\nKey Responsibilities\nWebFOCUS Development\nDesign dashboards, analytical applications and parameterized reports using Designer and InfoAssist.\nBuild FOCEXEC procedures and integrate them with HTML/JavaScript for customized reporting solutions.\nCreate metadata using WebFOCUS synonyms and Master Files.\nImplement complex reporting logic, drill-downs and scheduling workflows.\nOptimize queries and reporting performance across enterprise databases and external systems.\nGood understanding of SQL concepts\nWebFOCUS Administration\nInstall, configure and upgrade WebFOCUS environments (Dev, QA, Prod).\nManage the Reporting Server, Client and Distribution Server.\nMonitor system performance, resource utilization and job scheduling.\nConfigure authentication and security and manage access control.\nTroubleshoot platform issues and coordinate with infrastructure teams.\nPlatform Governance & Support\nEstablish development standards, code review processes and deployment practices.\nManage migration of reports and applications across environments.\nProvide support and root cause analysis for production issues.\nMentor junior developers and BI engineers.\nCollaborate with operations teams and partners to ensure BI solutions meet organizational needs.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or a related field.\n7+ years of total IT experience.\n6+ years of hands-on WebFOCUS development experience.\n2+ years of WebFOCUS platform administration experience.\nStrong expertise in FOCEXEC development, metadata management and environment management.\nExperience in performance tuning, server configuration and security setup\nWorking knowledge of Linux/Unix, shell scripting and version control (Git).\nAbility to mentor junior engineers and work effectively in a complex, global organization.\nGood to Have\nFamiliarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Python.\nWhat We Offer:\nOur benefits package includes …\nComprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to Calm\nVolunteer Paid Time off available after 6 months of employment for eligible employees.\nCompany volunteer and donation matching program - Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation. \nEmployee Assistance Program \nPersonalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack program \nOn-demand digital course library for professional development\n... and other local benefits!\nAt Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
