Role Summary
Based on market research and analysis, aligned with the company’s resources and strategic objectives, this role will focus on exploring high-potential emerging industries and new customers in Taiwan, especially in semi-conductor, data and computing center, power station, chemical plant, and construction industry.
Formulate and implement market expansion, new customer acquisition and channel development strategies for Taiwan to unlock new markets, onboard new clients, build new channels, and elevate the company’s market share and sales revenue in Taiwan.
Proactively develop core customers in emerging industries, collaborate with the sales team to drive project delivery, and establish replicable business models.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
1. New Industry Development: Conduct in-depth market research and industry analysis in Taiwan to identify high-potential market opportunities in emerging sectors. Develop tailored business expansion strategies and implementation plans for the Taiwan market, and clarify resource requirements as needed.
2. New Customer Development: Target and develop leading enterprises and high-quality potential customers in key industries (semiconductors, power, chemical), including semiconductor manufacturers, power operators, chemical groups, local owners, general contractors, design institutes, distributors and engineering parties. Establish long-term stable cooperative relationships and timely follow up on customer needs.
3. External Strategic Cooperation: Engage with diverse external partners across Taiwan to drive strategic cooperation in emerging industries. Integrate internal resources including products, sales and operations to ensure smooth project delivery and achievement of cooperation goals.
4. Replicable Business Model Development: Based on the development of key leading customers and flagship projects in Taiwan’s emerging industries, summarize best practices and build scalable replicable business models. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sustainable business growth in Taiwan.
5. Core Stakeholder Relationship Maintenance: Build close connections with core design institutes, engineering consulting institutions and industry associations in key industries. Promote ROCKWOOL products and solutions, drive product specification into design drawings, participate in industry summits, and collect project information and market feedback.

Required Skills & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree or above.
2. Above 8 years working experience with minimum 5 years of project-based business experience in multinational manufacturing companies. Experience in semiconductors, power, chemical or related industries is highly preferred.
3. Solid experience of driving business growth by securing product specification approval from end users and relevant stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated successful track record in business development, sales or key account management across Taiwan market
5. Good at in both Mandarin and English, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
