Job Purpose\nThe QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with product, process, laboratory, and management system requirements through effective quality assurance practices.\nThis role oversees laboratory testing activities, evaluates incoming raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, manages quality systems, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.\nThe position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards while supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction.\n3. Key Responsibilities\n3.1 Quality Management Systems & Compliance\nDevelop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Integrated Management System in accordance with:\nISO 9001 (Quality Management System)\nISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)\nISO/IEC 17025 (Testing and Calibration Laboratories)\nISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System)\n Ensure compliance with corporate Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) policies, procedures, and objectives.\nMonitor quality performance and ensure alignment with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.\n3.2 Raw Material Qualification & Testing\nLead testing, evaluation, and approval of incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.\nDevelop and maintain raw material inspection plans, acceptance criteria, and testing procedures.\nPerform statistical analysis and trend monitoring of raw material quality performance.\nCollaborate with Procurement, Production, Technical, and Supplier Quality teams to investigate and resolve raw material quality issues.\nSupport supplier qualification, supplier audits, and continuous supplier quality improvement initiatives.\n3.3 Laboratory Management\nManage daily laboratory operations and ensure testing activities are conducted accurately, safely, and efficiently.\nEnsure all laboratory equipment is calibrated, verified, maintained, and operated according to approved procedures and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.\nMaintain laboratory accreditation readiness and compliance with internal and external audit requirements.\nOptimize laboratory testing methods, workflows, and resource utilization.\n3.4. Product Testing & Quality Control\nAnalyze and evaluate test results for raw materials, work-in-progress products, and finished products.\nPrepare technical reports and provide recommendations for quality improvement and corrective actions.\nEstablish, validate, and monitor testing methods to comply with international standards, customer specifications, and industry best practices.\nInvestigate non-conforming products and ensure appropriate containment and disposition actions.Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving\n\nLead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities using structured problem-solving methodologies.\nDevelop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring quality issues.\nDrive continuous improvement projects focused on product quality, process capability, laboratory performance, and operational efficiency.\nUtilize quality and statistical tools such as SPC, Minitab, Pareto Analysis, Control Charts, and FMEAReporting\n\nPrepare and present regular quality and laboratory performance reports to management.\nMonitor and report key quality indicators, including:\nIncoming material quality performance\nProduct conformity rates\nCustomer complaints\nDefect rates\nCAPA effectiveness\nLaboratory performance metrics\nQHSE compliance status\n6. Qualifications and Competencies\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline\n.\nTechnical KnowledgeStrong knowledge of: ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems, Integrated QHSE Management Systems\nThorough understanding of laboratory testing methodologies and material characterization techniques.\nProficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools such as SPC, Minitab, FMEA, CAPA, and RCA.\nExperience with audit preparation, execution, and compliance management.\n\n7.
