The position is anchored in ROCKWOOL Digital - Web Applications and API Services Department - the department is responsible for delivering best value in web applications for our internal and external clients.\nThe Software Test Engineer reports to Web Development Team Lead and serves in the specialist team.\nKey Responsibilities and Job Content\nCreating and maintaining test plans and test cases covering both automated and manual testing.\nDesigning, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks and reusable test components.\nIntegrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback loops.\nAnalyzing automation test results to uncover trends and continuously improve test effectiveness.\nPerforming manual testing activities, including functional, smoke, regression, integration, etc.\nDesigning and executing performance, load and security tests.\nDocumenting and tracking bugs in a defect management system.\nLearning system end to end, risk assessment of proposed software changes.\nCollaborate with project/product managers, product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define effective test strategies.\nHelping with production issues, assistance for development team in efficient bug fixing.\nDefining testing standards and procedures, selecting testing tools.\nSupporting UAT and production release validation activities.\nProfessional Competencies\nBachelor’s degree in Information technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in software and/or web application testing.\nMinimum 3 years developing automated tests in web application using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.\nExperience in API testing and REST services validation.\nExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (preferably with Azure DevOps) and version control (GIT).\nGood understanding of test automation design and best practices.\nExperience of functional, performance, load and security testing.\nExperience in SQL for querying and validating application data.\nUnderstanding in working in an Agile (i.e. Scrum, Kanban) team.\nGood communication skills, fluency in English (verbally and in writing).\nAbility to easily change direction based on lessons learnt or changed circumstances (adaptability).\nOpen mind and positive can-do attitude.\nInitiative and ability to work without a close supervision.\nInternal drive for technical excellence.\nAdditional competencies (as a plus):Knowledge: testing methodologies, network protocols, web security, Jira, Testmo, k6, OWASP, Bruno, C# .Net, Docker, Selenium, Python, Cloud (Azure, Google Cloud).\nISTQB
