You help delivering new products to the market and maintain their Manufacturing process along with the complete product lifecycle. You contribute to a quality and LEAN focused culture.\nThe ultimate goal is to conceptualize, design and industrialize (together with other departments within Rocsys) products or Manufacturing lines that fulfill the strategic goals of the company. While having a constant focus on the best output quality possible, you assure our products are always up to defined specifications.\nIn this role you will\nAs Manufacturing Engineer, you play a key role in translating product designs into scalable and stable production processes. You work closely with R&D, Quality, and Process Engineering to ensure successful industrialization of new products throughout their lifecycle.\nYou help shape a strong culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement, contributing directly to making products robust, manufacturable, and ready for scale.\nIn this role, you lead Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews and drive improvement actions, develop and optimize manufacturing tooling and assembly solutions, and support the design and implementation of production lines and workflows. You also ensure tooling quality and compliance with relevant standards through structured audits and reviews.\nRequirements\nWhat you will bring into Rocsys\nYour knowledge and experience:\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.\n\n3-7 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or discrete production environments.\n\nExperience within a relevant technical or engineering field.\n\nFamiliarity with manufacturing processes, materials and quality assurance methods.\n\nStrong knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering and LEAN principles.\n\nSolid understanding of mechanical and/or mechatronic engineering.\n\nAbility to understand the complete value chain, from suppliers to customer delivery.\n\nExperience working within an international technical organization.\n\nYour personal skills\nHigh level of integrity, self-confidence and open communication.\n\nStructured, analytical and proactive working style.\n\nHands-on mentality and enjoyment of working in an operational environment.\n\nSelf-motivated and capable of working independently.\n\nFlexible and willing to travel within the Netherlands and occasionally to the United States.\n\nWhat we offer\nA 32-40 hour work week\n\nHybrid working model with flexible hours\n\nSalary range of €5,000-€7,500 per month (depending on experience)\n\nEmployee stock option plan\n\n25 vacation days, with the option to purchase 5 additional days\n\nBicycle plan\n\nStrong career development opportunities as we scale\n\nA dynamic and collaborative company culture\n\nFree daily vegetarian lunch\n\nWednesday afternoon drinks\n\nEasily accessible office in Rijswijk\n\n*This role is based in the Netherlands.
