Join us today and be a part of a team that is redefining the future of media.\nVTR Editor II\nWho we're looking for:\nWe’re looking for two Part-time Video Editor II to support our world-class Creative Team to help us grow the Rogers Sports & Media brand and connect with our Sportsnet audience through creativity and passion to create high quality content.\nWhat you'll do:\nEdit and create world-class promotional content for all Sportsnet Properties.\nCollaborate with Creative Directors, Producers, and team of Editors to create content that is both innovative and inspires.\nContinuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.\nMaximize utilization of available resources for the ever-growing requirements of Rogers Sports and Media’s market leading content offerings; liaise with management and engineering on all technical maintenance and repair related issues.\nWhat you'll bring:\nDemonstrated expertise with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, and various other edit design tools.\nA deep passion for Sports broadcasting, content, social media, and telling stories that resonate with our fans.\nProven proficiency with NLE software: Adobe Premiere, Avid, After Effects, And Photoshop (Grass Valley experience a plus).\nStrong understanding of Content Creation, Video formats, Codecs and File types.\nAbility to mix Stereo audio and understand 5.1 audio flow.\nAbility to color correct and grade video.\nAn aptitude for working with others and thinking of the team first.\nStrong analytical and technical skills/knowledge of various broadcast control systems and peripherals.\nA multi-tasker who works in a fast paced, results, and deadline driven environment.\nAbility to troubleshoot and find creative solutions when technical issues arise.\nTo protect our people, brand and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted.
