This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining Tableau dashboard that including dashboard design, creation, master data file building, data mining and measuring service & equipment revenue /usage KPIs and be able to be as story teller. Candidates will work very closely with various teams to provide value-added analysis on Wireless Revenue.\nThe Sr. Data Analyst will be based in Toronto and will provide expert data management to Wireless Service & Equipment Finance.\nWhat you'll do:\nDesign, develop, enhance and maintain Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards supporting Wireless Service & Equipment Finance reporting and performance management.\nDevelop and maintain master datasets and reporting data layers using Databricks, SQL and Python, including data extraction, transformation, integration and validation from multiple data sources.\nBuild and automate weekly and monthly financial scorecards, dashboards and management reports, providing clear insights into performance trends and key business drivers.\nAnalyze large and complex datasets across multiple source systems to evaluate wireless subscriber, revenue, equipment, usage and other financial/business KPIs.\nTranslate business and Finance requirements into scalable data models, queries, dashboards and reporting solutions.\nWrite and optimize SQL queries and Databricks workflows to extract, join, cleanse, transform and aggregate large datasets for financial reporting and business analysis.\nUse Python and SQL to automate recurring data preparation, validation, reconciliation and reporting processes.\nDevelop visually effective dashboards that enable users to understand performance, identify trends and investigate key drivers.\nPerform detailed data validation and reconciliation between source systems, master datasets, financial results and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.\nInvestigate data discrepancies, data quality issues and potential data corruption; identify root causes and work with appropriate teams to implement solutions.\nSupport Financial Analysis, Pricing, Commercial Strategy, Marketing and Sales teams by providing reliable datasets, analytical insights and ad-hoc reporting.\nProcess and analyze data to support business cases, forecasting, performance measurement and ad-hoc analytical requests.\nDefine data requirements and business rules and ensure data extracts and reporting outputs are complete, accurate and fit for purpose.\nDevelop and automate financial and statistical analyses using tools such as Databricks, Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau and Power BI.\nPartner with Data, Technology and IT teams to identify appropriate source systems, databases and tables and understand upstream/downstream data dependencies.\nPresent analytical findings to Finance and business stakeholders and translate complex data into clear business stories, key insights and actionable recommendations.\nWhat you'll bring:\n3+ years’ experience in data analytics/Business Intelligence, ideally within telecommunications.\nAdvanced Databricks and SQL skills working with large, complex datasets.\nStrong Python and/or PySpark programming and data manipulation experience.\nAdvanced Tableau dashboard development; Power BI experience is an asset.\nStrong knowledge of data modeling, transformation, quality, architecture, and data management.\nExperience building master datasets, reusable reporting sources, and automated/scalable reporting solutions.\nStrong Excel skills, including large datasets and financial analysis.\nExperience with statistical, trend, variance, testing, and performance analysis.\nUniversity degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.\nInsights-driven, adaptable, collaborative, and customer-focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat's in it for you:\nWe believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team.
