Come build a rewarding career at Rogers and be a driving force behind our success story!\nThe Senior Technology Auditor is responsible for executing risk-based technology audits across all Rogers business units, including Wireless, Cable, Media, Corporate Functions, Shared Services, and Rogers Bank. The role provides independent assurance over technology governance, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), data management, IT operations, and business process controls.\nThe successful candidate will have strong knowledge of technology risks, security controls, AI governance, data analytics, and operational processes. This individual will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify risks, evaluate control effectiveness, and provide practical recommendations that strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance.\nWhat you'll bring:\nTechnology Audit Execution\nExecute technology audit engagements from planning through reporting under the direction of Audit Management.\nConduct risk assessments and develop audit procedures to evaluate technology and business process risks.\nTest the design and operating effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGCs), IT Application Controls (ITACs), and automated controls.\nAssess governance, risk management, and control frameworks across technology environments.\nDocument audit observations and prepare clear, concise, and impactful audit reports.\nMonitor and validate remediation activities for audit findings.\nCybersecurity and Technology Risk\nEvaluate cybersecurity controls related to identity and access management, vulnerability management, incident response, network security, and endpoint security.\nAssess cloud environments, infrastructure operations, and technology resiliency controls.\nReview third-party technology and cybersecurity risks.\nIdentify control gaps and recommend practical remediation strategies.\nArtificial Intelligence and Data Governance\nAssess AI governance frameworks and controls supporting responsible AI deployment.\nEvaluate data governance, data quality, data privacy, and data security controls.\nReview machine learning and analytics solutions to identify governance and control risks.\nSupport audits involving AI platforms, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies.\nProcess and Control Reviews\nEvaluate end-to-end business and technology processes to identify operational and control weaknesses.\nPerform walkthroughs and control testing activities to assess effectiveness.\nAnalyze root causes of issues and develop value-added recommendations.\nAssess compliance with corporate policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.\nData Analytics and Continuous Auditing\nUtilize data analytics to improve audit coverage and identify risk indicators.\nAnalyze large datasets to identify anomalies, trends, and control deficiencies.\nSupport the development of continuous auditing and automated testing capabilities.\nLeverage technology tools to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.\nStakeholder Engagement\nDevelop effective working relationships with technology, cybersecurity, risk management, and business teams.\nPresent audit results and recommendations to management.\nFacilitate discussions to gain agreement on findings and action plans.\nAct as a trusted advisor on technology risk and control matters.\nWhat you'll bring:\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.\nProfessional Certifications\nOne or more of the following certifications is preferred:\nCISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)\nCIA (Certified Internal Auditor)\nCISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)\nCISM (Certified Information Security Manager)\nCRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)\nCPA designation is an asset\nExperience\n4 to 7 years of experience in IT Audit, Internal Audit, Information Security, Technology Risk, or a related field.\nExperience performing technology audits in large or complex organizations.\nStrong understanding of risk and control concepts.\nExperience evaluating cybersecurity, cloud technologies, AI governance, and data management controls.\nTelecommunications, financial services, or regulated industry experience is considered an asset.\nRequired Knowledge
